Information Serena S. would like to know about your pet
My previous dog (unfortunately passed away with old age and sickness) had diabetes, leg surgery. So we had to give shots and strengthen his leg back to healthy. Another dog who was 17 who got pancreatitis. He lived longer than promised bc we took very good care of him
A typical day
I like to play this game with my dog where I hide treats around the house and she has to go sniff them out. This stimulates her brain, her hunt instinct, desire to get food, and exert energy. So this is a game I’d play with all dogs

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a dedicated and caring dog lover with real, hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve cared for three dogs of my own—two small and one large—so I understand that every dog has unique needs, energy levels, and quirks. I’m comfortable working with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that may be anxious, shy, or recovering from illness. I believe in a balance of love, patience, and structure—making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a fun walk to burn off energy or a calm, reassuring drop-in visit, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and any special instructions you provide, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐶 What I Offer • Reliable and on-time visits • Experience with small and large breeds • Patient care for anxious or shy dogs • Gentle handling for sick or senior pets • Clear communication and updates after every visit
Reviews
Serena is a loving and attentive sitter. She looked after a blind and diabetic dog, Duke, and gave him his insulin shots and carried him out to allow him to walk about a bit and enjoy sniffing his surroundings. She wa very attentive to the provided schedule from his fur parents and provided pictures. She is also a fur Mom who took the time to properly train her princess (a rescue), Josie, by hiring a trainer and maintains a routine to provide comfort, trust and love, and provides her with homemade nutirtionally balanced meals along with her kibble. I would highly recommend her services.
Serena is an excellent dog owner and pet lover. She has owned dogs her entire life and has been known as a dog lover. She did an excellent job training her current dog, Josie, and I would trust her with taking care of any dog. Wonderful choice for a dog or pet sitter!
Serena has helped take care of my senior dog whenever I am out of town! She follows his exact diet regime and exercise/walk schedule. She has had dogs in her life for over 20 years of various sizes (Labrador, Chow Chow, Pomeranian, and Cavalier). She has experiencing walking dogs of various sizes and I am confident that she would be an amazing person for you to work with at Rover
