As a dog owner, I am aware of people and other pets around me when going on walks. It is important to know and understand the temperament of your dog to ensure their safety. For drop in visits, having a beagle has prepared me to identify potential problematic situations. I normally do a visual scan of the area to make sure that pee pads are secured, doors are closed and food is put away.

A typical day
I love to bring dogs around their neighborhood and go to a park nearby. I am also available to jog with a dog that needs more exercise.

Since I was younger, I have always been around dogs and other pets. My parents are avid animal lovers and naturally it rubbed off on me! I have attended events to promote animal rights and care for each pup as if they are my own. I have been walking dogs for approximately 6 years. From Shih Tzus to Labrador retrievers, I have cared for dogs with sizes in between. I enjoy spending time and getting to know each pup. As dog owner of a nose driven beagle, I understand the love and energy needed to keep up with our four legged family members. I love taking my dog for walks all over Staten Island. I am currently working from home and would like to fill my time with kind, energetic and loving dogs!

Serena has taken care of my Shih-Tzu Hennessy and he absolutely adores her. I was extremely happy with how well she handled him, and her display of care for my dog made me feel as if she was taking care of her own dog. She's truly a dog-lover, and the very fact that my dog is always so happy to see her is perhaps the best indication of how well of a dog-handler she is. I would recommend her for anyone looking for someone to take care of their dog.
