Compassionate Overachiever!
Hi there!! My name is Serena and I hope I receive the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’ve been in the pet care industry for over 9 years. I started out volunteering at my local SPCA casually walking dogs and providing basic care for the cats. Eventually my passion grew and I found myself working with the dogs almost seven days a week, 5+ hours a day. I was fortunate enough to get a lot of hands on behavior and medical training through volunteering! Over the years I have managed a few top of the line doggy daycares in the Chester county area in Pennsylvania, and absolutely loved every aspect of it. I enjoyed working alongside a few great veterinarians as well throughout the years. Lastly, I have also assisted many professional canine behaviorists specializing in anything from anxiety to aggression. Over time, I quickly realized I have such a large skill set and started taking clients of my own! My new goal is to be a dependable resource for pet parents in my community! I believe that all pets deserve the best care possible. With that being said, any person responsible for your pet(s) should have great instincts, background/ knowledge in animal medicine and health (so they can be prepared for any scenario), and can provide plenty of affection- that’s me! I’m an extremely easy going person, I set my goals high and I like to go above and beyond. In regards to drop in visits, I’m pretty flexible. If it takes longer to get your pet(s) settled, then so be it! Your animals safety, health, and happiness always comes first!! After taking a break for a year or so from Rover, I recently decided to re pursue pet care full time! I’m available whenever you or your pet needs me. Regardless of the time, my clients (human and animal) always come first! After four years of service in south Philly- I have relocated to port Richmond, right next to Fishtown! I’m extremely excited and proud to share my new space with your kiddos! Regarding all services, when I’m not partying with the animals (I’m not joking, there’s always lots of toys, treats, and love happening) your animals well being and your peace of mind is always my priority! For example, if I am in your home for a service I ensure all doors and windows are locked and secured to start with. Until I’m familiar with the environment and your animals tendencies, I’d rather be safe than sorry! If I am walking your dog(s), I firstly check the weather/ temperature, the walking equipment goes on the pup before any doors open. I double check the security of the walking equipment, house keys go in my pocket, your home gets secured and then my adventure with your pup begins! Regardless of the service, you will be guaranteed plenty of updates! I always provide my personal number to ensure I am available directly as well. For anyone traveling out of the country, I am accessible via WhatsApp. I am extremely easy going, there’s always an open line of communication!

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your pet and your home is my top priority at all times. Then, ensuring your pet is having the best time! I am very tedious regarding my routine to ensure your baby and home is secure at all times. As far as boarding goes, I have a fenced in yard and no pets are left unsupervised inside or outside the home under any circumstance regardless where we are. Safety first, then fun!

Serena is the best Rover I’ve ever had! She was super responsive and squeezed in a meet and greet and was so patient to book us last minute for a 5 day stay. My dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and is on a chemo protocol and about a million other meds so it is difficult to find someone capable and trustworthy to handle her care while I’m gone. Serena was incredible and all my anxieties and stresses were eased as she was super communicative and sent many updates and photos and videos and monitored her closely. She is amazing at what she does and I could tell my dog adored her and had a blast. I highly recommend her to anyone with any type of dog and level of care as she is a top tier professional! Will absolutely be using her in the future.
Serena was amazing!! You can tell she really loves animals. She sent me updates throughout the day. I swear my puppy didn’t even want to come home because she had so much fun at Serena’s home. Will definitely be booking again in the future.
Serena was great, our dog seemed to really enjoy himself at her house! She said he played well with the other dogs as well, which really means he broke out of his shell
Serena is an excellent sitter. She provided constant pictures, videos, and updates so knew what Penny and her new friends were up to all evening. We picked up a happy, tired puppy at the end of the night 😅. Thank you Serena!!
