Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and I have the flexibility to structure my day around dogs in my care. Depending on what your pup needs, the following can be arranged - Morning walks and feeding before the workday starts (for walking appointments) - Midday afternoon enrichment in the yard or quiet rest time depending on each dog’s needs - Evening dinner, and wind-down time - Late-night potty breaks so everyone settles comfortably (for overnight boarding) Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs are rarely left alone and I can quickly respond to their energy levels, routines, or any special needs. I keep a consistent structure while still adjusting for puppies, seniors, or dogs who need more frequent breaks or calmer pacing. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible, which allows for longer walks, extra enrichment, and slower mornings. My goal is always to give dogs a calm, predictable routine that helps them feel secure and at home while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay in my home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured environment that mirrors their normal routine as closely as possible. I have a secure, fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, potty breaks, and relaxed play. Dogs are never left unattended outside. Inside the home, I’m intentional about space. I have the ability to separate dogs into different areas if your dog prefers their own private space or whether for feeding, rest, crate time, or simply giving a dog some quiet space. This is especially helpful for new arrivals, puppies, seniors, or dogs who need slower introductions to a new space.

Information Serena & James T. would like to know about your pet

Please do let me know if your dog has special needs or require to adhere to a specific schedule of play/nap/outdoor time, we'll try our best to cater to the best of our abilities :)

A typical day

I enjoy doing scent work exercise where I get my dog to find a treat in the house. It's a great way to mentally stimulate them. Playing catch and hide and seek in the yard to stretch their legs out after a nap is also a great way to spend the afternoon!

Pet care experience

Serena: I’ve spent my entire life around German Shepherds and large-breed dogs. I trained my first shepherd when I was 12 :) James: I adopted my first dog, a Jindo rescue named Jack from South Korea 7 years ago. Dog sat a few of my friends' dogs in the past as well! We are comfortable with: Senior dogs - which may require slower walks, medication schedules, mobility awareness, and plenty of rest. Jack was given the best life he could ever had until he passed away at a golden age of 12. Large and working breeds - They may require more mental stimulation and structured playtimes as well as calm introductions to new environments. Smaller size dogs - We are equipped with rooms to give them their own space to play and rest if they prefer it. I work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and they will be given regular cuddles and pets. My goal is always to create a calm, predictable environment where dogs feel secure — not overstimulated — and owners feel confident knowing their dog is in experienced hands. We do also have friends who boards their dogs at our place while they are away so they aren't recorded on Rover but see their happy tail photos on our page! Recent stays include April 2026: 2 nights - 1 year old pug May 2026: 3 weeks - Senior 11 year old collie

Serena and James were great with our little anxious pup, and very understanding and accommodating with our flexible schedule. Even for one night, they kept us updated and sent pictures and videos which was very comforting. They are very knowledgeable and understanding with dogs and their various personalities . I recommend them wholeheartedly. I’ll keep driving all the way from Abby to leave my pup with them in future.

Serena and James were very attentive to Kaisa. She can be a bit loud and acted more needy than we expected during her stay, and they did a great job keeping us updated and comforting her. Thank you for watching her during our little trip!

Serena and James offered to look after my senior German Shepherd who has some health and mobility issues and requires medication and a bit more care whilst I was planning on going away for a 3 week holiday. I was impressed with their fully fenced yard, the clean grass, and their well behaved dog, Qira. Ultimately the trip fell through, but I am confident that these two dog lovers would have provided the caring and gentle space my old girl requires. If you are looking for some kind people to care for your furry member of the family, I would suggest you meet and greet this couple and their conveniently located home.
