Since I work from home, pets are rarely alone. They hang out with me during the day, get plenty of supervised breaks, and have a cozy space to relax. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean area to rest, and a safe environment with lots of attention. I will also send regular updates and photos, because I know how much it matters to see how your pet is doing. My goal is simple: keep them safe, happy, and relaxed the entire time they’re here.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay in my home, they will get plenty of attention. I require a meet & greet before any booking so your pet can get comfortable with me and my home. Once we’ve officially met, I’m open to same-day requests — just message me and I’ll do my best to make it work. I also accept multiple pets from the same owner. I never overbook. Only 1 family at a time. Safety and comfort come first, always. I live with teenagers, so I like to be honest: our house can get a little chaotic on alternating weekends when everyone’s home. Weekdays are much calmer. If your dog needs a quieter environment, I want to make sure we’re the right fit. I also have a cat but she remains in the basement due to her anxiety issues. The basement is closed off by a door. I keep communication open with updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Your pet gets treated with real intention here — safe, supervised, loved, and never lost in a crowd.

Information Serena G. would like to know about your pet

I know every pet is different, personalities, quirks, etc I only ask owners to be completely upfront with me about any quirks, special needs, or challenges — whether that’s anxiety, accidents in the house, sensitivity to weather, medication routines, or anything else. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can help your pet feel safe and cared for.

A typical day

Since I work from home, I have time to do multiple walks. I don't have a fenced yard, therefore your pet will be let out on a leash and at the least walked around our backyard multiple times a day. My pup loved car rides, if your pup loves rides I will gladly take them. We have toys for pups to play with. I have teenagers that love to play with pups as well.

Pet care experience

My pet care experience comes from being a lifelong pet parent to… well, just about everything. I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and birds—basically a tiny zoo. Because of that, I’m really good at reading different personalities, spotting when something seems off, and keeping animals feeling safe and comfortable. I recently lost my pup and am now free to use my time to help others. I’m new to professional pet sitting, but not new to loving animals or taking care of them with patience and routine. I work from home, so your pet gets a built-in buddy all day long. I also have taken care of my neighbors pets since I work from home. I only offer boarding, which means the pets in my home get my full attention (and all the cozy vibes).

We had a great experience with Serena and her family while our dog, Stella, stayed with them for eight days. From the start, it was clear Stella was in a warm and welcoming environment, and she quickly settled right in. Serena and her family were incredibly kind and gracious, and it really showed in how happy and comfortable Stella was during her stay. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing she was being well cared for and treated like part of the family. One of the highlights was that Stella even came home having learned a few new tricks! It’s obvious that Serena goes above and beyond, not just looking after the dogs but actually spending quality time with them. We’re very grateful for the care Stella received and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Serena again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!

Serena did an amazing job watching my dog. She had great communication the entire time and sent lots of pictures, which really helped me feel at ease while I was away. It was clear my baby was being loved on and well cared for. Serena made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with her, and I would absolutely book with her again!

Serena was absolutely amazing watching our dog, Bella! From the moment we left for our trip, she kept us completely at ease by sending regular updates and pictures the entire time. It meant so much to know Bella was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were away. Serena went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would use her again anytime and highly recommend her to everyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pet!
