I just graduated from UCLA and moved back home to San Diego, so I have a lot of newfound time on my hands! I am available throughout the day on weekdays and have no problems walking early in the morning or later at night.

I love reinforcing any training you are implementing at home as well. Favorite toys, treats, and special quirks are also helpful!
A typical day
With the pets I watch, I love going on long scenic walks paired with a dog park to throw a ball or play with toys! It varies by the dog, as more energetic dogs will need higher-intensity activities while others will prefer a simple walk. Every pet is different, so I love getting to know what each loves best! My main goal is to make your pets feel happy, safe, and loved while you're away.

Pet care experience
From walking my first childhood dog at 6 to caring for loved ones' dogs throughout my teens, I knew I loved pet care! I specialize in stubborn and/or hyperactive pups! I have walked dogs of all sizes and love getting to know each of their personalities. I am also an experienced photographer and would love to capture some frameable shots of your dog during a drop-in or walk! I have lived in San Diego for about 14 years now, so I am knowledgeable about all the best dog-walking trails/routes, especially in the Del Mar area! I can't wait to meet you and your pup :)

Serena is the best! She takes my two dogs out on walks while I’m at work which gives me peace of mind since I hate leaving them alone at home for too long. She is the sweetest and has been extremely reliable! A great communicator and obviously a huge animal lover with a big heart. My dogs absolutely love her and are so comfortable with her. Sometimes she texts silly photos of them to me and it makes my day at work! I absolutely recommend Serena to anyone who wants peace of mind that their pups are in good hands!
I could not recommend Serena more highly! She watched over my sweet boy, Teddy, for a week while I was gone for work-related matters and did an absolutely wonderful job. Teddy is in his senior years and does require more care. Serena was extremely meticulous about his schedule, even though he has an extensive medication routine and is a picky eater. She was also super communicative and thoughtful, repeatedly sharing updates and photos of Teddy. Overall, I could not recommend Serena more! We absolutely love her and know Teddy is excited to see her again!
Serena has always been extremely kind and capable with my 4 year old labradoodle. Always a consistent communicator, she is one of the few people that can truly tire out my energetic (and somewhat reactive) pup! I would highly recommend Serena to any northern San Diego pet-owners!
