I will stick strictly to instructions given to me on your pets care. If there is anything I may become unsure of I will ensure to ring you immediately. My main focus is the well being, comfort and happiness of the animal, but also that you are happy with entrusting your animals care with me.

Information Seren P. would like to know about your pet

I will go over a cover sheet with you at the Meet and Greet, I'll complete this the following day or two after and ask you to check it and sign it, as well as giving ourself a copy. Please let me know if the animal has any aggressive behaviours towards other animals that I should be aware of. Medical and Special needs issues should be discussed and any necessary measures put place. Let me know where they like scratches or rubs, or if they dont! I am always happy to take on any advice and improve my services to get them to the best they can possibly be. I usually bring a waisted bag (seen within my photos) to store bags/treats/toys. This is particularly helpful with reactive dogs to avert their attention if needed on walks. Every pet is different so it us usually best if you provide your own treats, but I bring some with me as well (these will be checked with you). I try my best to be prepared for all situations so usually carry a spare lead/harness with me incase of emergencies but providing your own equipment is essential. I always send updates and photos within my time caring for your pet. If I capture some super cute pictures I may ask if I can use these on my profile :)

A typical day

As the main carer of your pet let me know what would be best stimulating for them. For more senior dogs a gentle slow paced stroll round a park with lots of lovely smells will be nice. I'm an active person and for the more energetic (but well behaved dogs) I would love to take them on a run! If fetch is on the table I'm up for it. If your dog has a favorite place or you know somewhere I should try, I am more than happy to give it a go! Even if your kitty wishes to have a stroll, I've done this before too!

Pet care experience

Besides my experience with my own pets, from the reptiles to horses, poultry, small pets, cats and dogs - I have invested my spare time into volunteering within the Dogs rescue centre B.A.R.C and fostered 3 rounds of pups. I have a genuine love and passion for animal care and guarantee your pets specific needs will be completed with me. Please feel free to request bookings that may not be in my selected availability or distance as my timetable is flexible an always changing and I’m happy to make adjustments. FULL DBS ON UPDATE SYSTEM. Based in Bourne PE10, AND Lincoln LN2. I am willing to travel.

Unfortunately our booking with Seren had to be cancelled at the last minute due to ill health. However at our "meet and greet" we were so impressed with her professional manner, courtesy and the safe, easy way in which she bonded with our little Yorkshire Terrier, Tinker. We will be contacting her again shortly and hope that she will be happy to housesit for us in the near future.

Seren dog-sat while we were at a wedding, and was great! She was very professional and accommodating, and was very comfortable with Junip’s anxiety/reactivity around other dogs. She sent updates and followed our specific instructions. Thank you :)

FAB IN-HOUSE DOG SITTER!!!! Seren house sat for us to look after our Beagle, Beau for a long weekend. This was the first time we were leaving Beau with a sitter and Seren put us at ease from the off. She came to do a meet and great and had a very thorough form where we could detail all Beau’s needs. She had a lovely manner with Beau and he quickly felt comfortable with her. Seren was a fantastic house sitter. She kept us updated with photos and videos of Beau whilst we were away and reassured us that he was ok. He seemed to have a great time with her! Seren kept the house clean and tidy and everything was great when we arrived home. She went above and beyond what was expected of her - she washed Beau’s towels, put his toys back together, she even helped us out by sorting a parcel that needed posting urgently! Would 100% use Seren again for sitting, drop in visits or walks.
