Looking for a calmer alternative to traditional boarding? I offer private, low-stress boarding in a quiet home environment designed for dogs who may not thrive in busy kennel settings. Whether your dog prefers a peaceful routine, needs a little extra space, or simply does better with individualized attention, my goal is to provide a safe and comfortable stay tailored to their needs. Unlike many boarding facilities, I accept only one client household at a time and also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate to help dogs feel secure while maintaining safe management. I am the owner of Apex Canine Behavior & Training, am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and have experience caring for puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and those who benefit from a thoughtful, low-stress approach. Every dog is treated like an individual, and their comfort and wellbeing are always my top priorities.

Seren is amazing, can’t say enough about her! We have 2 pit bulls(2 yrs and a puppy) the 2 year old is very shy and takes a while to warm up to people and the first time he met her at our meet and greet he took right to her and actually sat on the couch with her!(he’s never done that before with anyone but us). That says a lot and how good of a person she is, she does great with him and makes him feel very comfortable. She is also great with our new puppy and is helping with training her. Very reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and professional. Highly recommend booking with Seren she is the best! Me and the pups love her!

Schedule
Dog care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide frequent supervision, individualized attention, and a consistent daily routine. Because I accept only one client household at a time, each dog receives personalized care based on their normal schedule, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, medication (if needed), and plenty of downtime. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. I provide private boarding in a quiet home environment with no group boarding, helping reduce stress for dogs who may not do well in traditional kennel settings. I also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate, allowing for safe management while giving dogs their own comfortable space. My kennel is equipped with 24/7 security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, air quality monitoring, and secure containment. I am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, experienced with medication administration, and every dog’s care is tailored to their individual needs and comfort level.

A typical day
Every stay is customized to the individual dog. A typical day includes regular potty breaks, meals on their normal schedule, enrichment activities, walks or yard time as appropriate, plenty of rest, and lots of one on one attention. I focus on maintaining a calm, predictable routine to help dogs feel safe and relaxed throughout their stay.
