Safety, trust & environment

I understand that trusting someone with your home and your pets is a big decision. I take that responsibility seriously and always treat your space and animals with the utmost respect and care. Here’s how I ensure safety and peace of mind: I closely follow all instructions you provide to maintain your pet’s routine I keep a clean, respectful presence in your home I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing I’m attentive to changes in behavior or health and will notify you immediately if anything seems off I prioritize secure doors, gates, and safe environments at all times My years of experience have built a strong foundation of responsibility, awareness, and genuine care for animals.

Information Sequoyah B. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best possible care, I like to learn as much as I can about your pet ahead of time. Every detail helps me keep them comfortable and maintain their routine. Helpful things to share include: Daily schedule (feeding times, walks, sleep habits) Personality and temperament (shy, energetic, anxious, etc.) Training level and any commands they know Potty routine and any ongoing training Medical needs, medications, or allergies Any mobility issues or special care needs (especially for senior pets) Triggers or things they dislike (loud noises, other animals, etc.) Favorite toys, activities, and comfort items Any house rules or boundaries you’d like reinforced The more I know, the better I can create a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your pet.

A typical day

Every day with your pet is tailored to their unique needs, energy level, and routine. My goal is to keep their schedule as consistent and stress-free as possible while making sure they feel loved and engaged. A typical day may include: Morning potty break or litter box check, followed by feeding Walks, playtime, or enrichment activities (toys, training, or mental stimulation) Midday check-ins, potty breaks, and companionship Reinforcing routines like potty training or basic commands (if applicable) Plenty of affection, attention, and snuggle time Evening feeding, walks, and wind-down time For puppies, I maintain a structured schedule with frequent potty breaks, consistency in training, and lots of positive reinforcement. I also genuinely enjoy working with senior pets and understand they require a different level of care, such as extra patience, slower pacing, and close attention to their comfort and health. Whether that means shorter walks, administering medication, or simply providing gentle companionship, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, supported, and at ease. For cats and more independent pets, I focus on creating a calm environment, engaging in play when they’re interested, and respecting their space while still providing attentive care. Whether your pet is energetic, aging, or somewhere in between, I adapt to their needs so they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and truly understand what it takes to keep them happy, safe, and well-balanced. I raised my first puppy at 12 years old and another at 19, so I’m very familiar with the patience, structure, and consistency puppies need to thrive. I prioritize routine and know how critical it is—especially for young dogs. I’m experienced with potty training schedules, including letting puppies out every 2 hours as needed, and reinforcing positive behaviors through consistency and engagement. Beyond basic care, I genuinely enjoy training, playing, and bonding with dogs. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs activity or prefers calm companionship and snuggles, I adapt to their personality and needs. I offer: Overnight stays (full-time, day & night care in your home) Multiple daily drop-ins Walks, playtime, and enrichment Feeding, medication (if needed), and routine maintenance Beyond puppies,I have patience and experience with senior dogs. I had a golden retriever as well as a great dane. Both lived long, happy lives. I gave them extra love and support as they aged. I have a tender spot in my heart for the loving, frosty faced babies.

Harper had the best possible care and love and activities with Sequoyah! She is very knowledgeable and was cautious about the dog’s health and safety. Plus, she left the house cleaner than when she arrived!

Sequoyah was wonderful from her early communication, to our Meet and Greet, and throughout her visits with our senior dog, Bella. I would definitely recommend her services.

Sequoyah is a very thoughtful and caring person. She took great care of our dog and our home while we were away, and sent frequent updates and photos. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing Harper was in great hands!
