Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs, cats, and various other animals in my family so I have lots of experience in caring for them. A family friend has told me I'm like a dog whisperer because most dogs are comfortable with me. I'm most comfortable with no more than 4 dogs at a time, whether they're small like a Dachshund or a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, medium-sized like a Brittany Spaniel or a Labrador, or large like a Newfoundland or Great Dane. I also am able to train dogs in simple commands such as stay, sit, lay down, and shake. And I'm willing to help potty train puppies and bathe dogs if needed. I do have experience with elderly dogs or sick dogs with many health conditions and medications.

Even just through drop-ins, Sequoia has been an amazing sitter for my senior cat. Not only did she provide above-expectation care, she also took the time to ensure his safety during this disastrous winter storm. Will definitely be recommending her to others and scheduling again in the future!

I am working on getting a fence but currently just a tie-out lead and a large dog house is what I have with lots of land to run.

A typical day
If possible, I will take the dog(s) to less crowded and more natural spaces such as the woods, a beach, or a small river/creek where there's not so much pavement to hurt their feet and they have more room to explore.

Availability
Either myself or my spouse is nearly always at home. I work a flexible job where I can stop at home during the day if needed. I currently have my own dog and cat.
