Pet care experience

Downtown day care√private-room√

First Hill minutes from downtown • weekday day care for office workers • private-room setup for reactive dogs. I grew up in a village in Turkey where dogs were part of everyday life we always had our own dogs, and caring for animals was something I learned as a child, not from books. Since then, animals have never left my life: for years I cared for my son's dog as if he were my own, and today I still help care for my other son's dog here in Seattle every week feeding, walking, playtime, and plenty of affection. I'm a retired grandmother, so I'm never in a rush; your pet gets my calm, full attention on every visit. I'm reliable, always on time, and I'm happy to send photos and updates from each visit. My English is simple but I always understand care instructions clearly. It would be my joy to care for your furry family member.

My dogs were cared for in a very professional manager. Sena and her son take care of the dogs together. I left my two pit bulls with them and they had the comfort of their own room for the duration of the booking. I received frequent updates on the status of my dogs and pics and videos. I was glad to get back to them but had no problem leaving them in her care! Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Senel. The communication was fantastic and the videos showed what a great time my dog was having. I will be a repeat client!

Over the years, my mother devoted herself to my dog as though he were her very own flesh and blood attending to his daily needs, keeping him active, and showering him with inexhaustible patience and warmth. She is, without question, the most compassionate and steadfast soul I know with animals. Any creature fortunate enough to be entrusted to her would be blessed beyond measure. Let me know which style fits what you need, or if you'd like a different twist!

I’ve known Senel to be an incredibly reliable and trustworthy pet caregiver. She has taken wonderful care of our mini Goldendoodle whenever we’ve been away, and we always feel completely at ease knowing our dog is with her. She is caring, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. Our dog is always happy, comfortable, and well cared for in her hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Senel to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate person to care for their pet.

I'm retired, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily life I have a flexible schedule and I'm available seven days a week, morning to evening. I'm never in a rush between visits: your pet always gets my full time and attention. I already care for my son's dog here in Seattle every week, so regular visits are a natural part of my routine.

Safety, trust & environment

All my visits take place in your home, where your pet feels safest. I follow your care instructions exactly feeding amounts, medications, house rules and I never let a dog off leash outdoors. I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed, keep your home clean and tidy, and treat it with full respect. After every visit I send you photos and a short update, so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and loved.

A typical day

We're in First Hill, minutes from downtown Seattle right next to the hospital district, with short-term parking usually easy to find out front for drop-off and pick-up. Yesler Park is a 5-minute walk for sniffy strolls, and quieter side streets nearby are perfect for reactive or leash-shy pups. A typical day: morning potty walk and fresh water, midday walk or play session, meals exactly on your dog's schedule (we follow your feeding instructions to the letter), an afternoon rest while we work from home, evening walk, and a calm night. Someone is home nearly all day — dogs are never left alone for long. Our setup: we run a private-room system. If two guests ever overlap, each dog gets their own room with separate walks and feeding times they never meet. This has worked beautifully for reactive, dog-shy, and dog-selective guests. Daily photo and video updates are standard, and we send a quick intake form before every stay so we know your dog's routine, quirks, and vet info before they walk in the door. Fresh water always, no unattended food, leashed walks only, and lots of attention.

Please share ahead of time: your dog's feeding routine and food (meals come with your dog), any medications and how they take them (pill pockets, peanut butter, hidden in food. we're experienced with tricky pill-takers), potty schedule and signals, and how they do around other dogs, reactive, selective, or shy is completely fine here, our private-room setup was built exactly for that; we just need to know in advance to plan walks and spaces. Also helpful: fears and triggers (thunder, vacuums, skateboards, strangers), any food or toy guarding, leash habits (puller, Gentle Leader, harness), crate preferences, and anything we should NEVER do (dog parks, off-leash areas, jumping from heights, etc.). Before every stay we send a short intake form covering all of this it takes 5 minutes and lets us follow your dog's routine from day one. Bringing their bed or blanket is always welcome; familiar smells help dogs settle in fast.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
