I’ve been surrounded by dogs since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted our first dog, Tom. Since then, we’ve rescued three more, giving me plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I also volunteer at Manchester Dogs' Home, where I’ve gained confidence in walking and handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments. In addition, I’ve spent time caring for puppies, including dog-sitting for my friend’s Dachshund, Maverick. While my family dog, Tula, now lives with my mum abroad and I miss her dearly, I’d love to have more dogs in my life. I’m excited to share my love for dogs and my experience with yours, whether they’re big or small, young or old.

Selina arrived promptly and took Zoe to the park, she sent great photos and Zoe had a very enjoyable walk We will definitely ask Selina again ?
Selina looked after my puppy who was only 5 months old whilst I was on a weekend break. Not only was I comforted in that Maverick was being responsibly cared in his own home, Selina kept me regularly updated on how he was through the whole weekend. Maverick got plenty of walks, treats and cuddles from Selina even when it was raining heavily! My house was looked after too and kept tidy whilst I was away. Maverick benefitted from his own home comforts and a new friend to play with whilst I was away. She kept to his routine in toliet training too and was happy to have him sleep with her at night which is was he was used too. I came home to a very happy dog which is all I could ask for. Selina is an exceptional dog walker who is responsible, caring, and knowledgeable. She has a natural ability to connect with dogs and tailors her approach to their unique personalities and temperaments. Selina is reliable, punctual, and communicates effectively, providing updates and pictures of the dogs during their walks. I have observed her interact with my own dog and she is patient and attentive towards her. She is also very knowledgeable about dog behavior and knows how to handle different situations. I highly recommend Selina to anyone looking for a trustworthy individual to care for their furry friends.

Schedule
I live by Fog Lane Park and am only a short walk from the River Mersey - perfect dog walking locations! I am also free on some weekends.

I provide calm, reliable, and loving care tailored to each pet’s routine and personality. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-looked-after. I stick closely to feeding, walking, medication, and play schedules, and I’m always mindful of home routines and boundaries. I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep owners updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind.
A typical day
With every dog I care for, my goal is to make sure they have a fun and engaging experience! I love giving dogs the opportunity to explore new sights and smells, and for more active pups, we can enjoy longer walks or some playful playtime with toys. If they enjoy training or learning new tricks, I’m happy to incorporate some positive reinforcement into their routine as well, just let me know.
