Hi! I’m Selin. I’m a Turkish architect and currently completing my Master’s degree in Barcelona. I speak English fluently and Spanish at an intermediate level, making communication smooth and clear for both local and international owners. Since I am writing my Master’s thesis my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give your pets my full, dedicated attention. I’ve been a dog person my entire life, and since becoming a cat mom in 2020, I’ve also fallen deeply in love with cats. I am very experienced with cat care, and I took full responsibility for dog sitting on some occasions for 3–4 day periods. Back in Istanbul, I completed dog walker training for a leading pet care app (Doggo). I learned essential practical skills in safe handling on walks, safety protocols, and how to calmly handle unexpected situations. Having a bond with animals has been a vital part of my life since childhood, and living abroad it’s something I truly miss every day. I culturally respect spatial organization, cleanliness, maximum care and I believe peace of mind is key. During the stay, I could send you plenty of photos and videos so you never have to worry about your furry friend. I’m so excited to connect and spend quality time with your cat or dog! ¡Hola! Soy Selin. Soy arquitecta turca y actualmente estoy terminando mi máster en Barcelona. Hablo inglés con fluidez y tengo un nivel intermedio de español, por lo que la comunicación es clara y sencilla tanto con propietarios locales como internacionales. Como estoy escribiendo mi tesis de máster, tengo un horario muy flexible, lo que me permite dedicar toda mi atención y cuidado a tus mascotas. He sido una persona de perros toda mi vida y, desde que me convertí en mamá de un gato en 2020, también me enamoré profundamente de los gatos. Tengo mucha experiencia en el cuidado de gatos y he asumido toda la responsabilidad del cuidado de perros durante períodos de 3 o 4 días. En Estambul, completé una formación como paseadora de perros para Doggo, una de las principales aplicaciones de cuidado de mascotas. Allí aprendí habilidades prácticas esenciales para pasear perros de forma segura, protocolos de seguridad y cómo gestionar con calma situaciones inesperadas. Tener un vínculo con los animales ha sido una parte fundamental de mi vida desde la infancia y, viviendo en el extranjero, es algo que echo de menos cada día. Respeto profundamente el orden del hogar, la limpieza y el máximo cuidado de los espacios. Creo que la tranquilidad de los propietarios es fundamental. Durante la estancia puedo enviarte muchas fotos y vídeos para que nunca tengas que preocuparte por tu compañero peludo. ¡Me hará muchísima ilusión compartir tiempo de calidad con tu gato o tu perro!

When caring for pets in your home, my top priorities are safety, maintaining their familiar routine, and respecting your personal space. Being Turkish, I am naturally clean, tidy, and respectful of spatial organization and personal property. I always aim to provide maximum care for the pets and to leave a home even better than I found it. Back in Istanbul, I completed dog walker training for a leading pet care app (Doggo). I learned essential practical skills in safe handling on walks, safety protocols, and how to calmly handle unexpected situations. You can trust that I will strictly follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walking routines, and house rules. Please note that since I currently live in a student residence, I am unable to host pets in my own home. However, I am fully available for house sitting at your place or dog walking and drop-in visits! Cuando cuide de tus mascotas en tu hogar, mis principales prioridades son su seguridad, mantener su rutina habitual y respetar tu espacio personal. Como turca, soy una persona naturalmente limpia, ordenada y muy respetuosa con la organización de los espacios y las pertenencias personales. En Estambul, completé una formación como paseadora de perros para Doggo, una de las principales aplicaciones de cuidado de mascotas. Allí aprendí habilidades prácticas esenciales para pasear perros de forma segura, protocolos de seguridad y cómo gestionar con calma situaciones inesperadas. Siempre procuro brindar el máximo cuidado a las mascotas y dejar el hogar incluso mejor de como lo encontré. Puedes confiar en que seguiré cuidadosamente todas tus instrucciones sobre los horarios de alimentación, las rutinas de paseo y las normas de la casa. Como actualmente vivo en una residencia de estudiantes, no puedo alojar mascotas en mi propio hogar. Sin embargo, estoy totalmente disponible para cuidar de tus mascotas en tu casa, así como para pasear perros y realizar visitas a domicilio.

Selin took care of my two male cats, Simi and Reçel, for three weeks, and I can honestly say she looked after them even better than I do. 😊She played with my energetic cats every single day, gave them lots of attention, and regularly sent me videos to keep me updated. She followed every request we had with great care, and on top of that, she is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most fun people I’ve ever met. 🤩 Icouldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter and would wholeheartedly recommend her!

From the very first day I entrusted my dog to her, I felt so at ease that I never once worried about him. Thanks to the cheerful photos, videos, and detailed updates she sent throughout the day, I was able to enjoy every moment of my work with peace of mind. I cannot recommend Selin highly enough as a pet sitter! I’ve seen her interact with cats and dogs many times, and she has also cared for my own cats and dog. She treats every animal with such deep love and genuine affection. Every time my pets are around her, they are noticeably energetic, happy, and completely at ease. Selin’s caring and affectionate nature truly makes her the perfect person for this job. She has an absolute passion for animals, and anyone would be lucky to have her look after their beloved pets. Schedule
Currently I am writing my Master’s thesis and searching for professional opportunities. Because of this, my schedule is extremely flexible, allowing me to give your pets my full, dedicated attention. Since I have no fixed office hours this season, I am especially available for long-term stays and full-day house sitting. Whether it's taking long walks, keeping a strict feeding routine, or just spending quiet quality time together, I can easily adapt my day around your pet’s specific needs. Actualmente estoy escribiendo mi tesis de máster y buscando oportunidades profesionales. Por ello, tengo un horario muy flexible, lo que me permite dedicar toda mi atención y cuidado a tus mascotas. Como esta temporada no tengo un horario fijo de oficina, estoy especialmente disponible para estancias de larga duración y para cuidar de tus mascotas durante todo el día. Ya sea dar largos paseos, mantener una rutina estricta de alimentación o simplemente pasar tiempo tranquilo y de calidad juntos, puedo adaptar fácilmente mi día a las necesidades específicas de tu mascota.
