As a former boarding kennel employee, I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior, safety, and individualized care into my clients’ homes. In-home pet care allows me to provide a more personal and less stressful environment for pets, which is especially valuable for animals that may be anxious in an unfamiliar setting. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I start by learning about each aspect of a pet's routine: meal times, walks, medications, playtime preferences, and any special instructions. I prioritize consistency and familiarity to help your furry friend feel safe and comfortable. I will be sure that your home stays clean and safe by cleaning food and water bowls regularly and managing any accidents with pet-safe cleaners. I also monitor the pet’s health closely- watching for changes in appetite, behavior, or bathroom habits- and I’m trained to handle emergencies with a calm, clear plan of action. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that keeps pets happy and healthy while giving their owners peace of mind.

I like to learn as much as I can about each pet through meet and greets prior to our walks or drop-ins. It’s important for me to know their daily routine, energy level, and any special needs they may have such as medications, dietary restrictions/allergies, or mobility issues. I also ask about their behavior around other animals and people, what commands they know, and if they have any fears or triggers ( thunderstorms, loud noises, et cetera). Most importantly, I want to know what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and happy whether it’s a favorite toy, a cozy blanket, or a specific walking route. Every pet is different, and knowing these details helps me care for them like they’re my own.
A typical day
I love getting creative to make sure the pets I care for get plenty of fun, safe, and enriching experiences! I take dogs on long walks around the neighborhood where they can explore and sniff out new scents. If they enjoy fetch, we’ll play in a safe grassy area nearby. For more relaxed pups, we enjoy cuddle time, belly rubs, and just hanging out together. I try to match each pet’s personality and energy so they feel happy, loved, and right at home.
