With 10+ years of experience in pet care and 9 years of hands-on professional work tending to their care & hygiene needs, I bring a deep understanding of the communication & behavior of our 4-legged companions. It is truly one of my life’s missions to help our familiars feel safe, happy, and understood. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply reassurance, your dog will always be treated with patience, love, and expert care. I've got that "animal whisperer" type of 'tism. 😋 Over the years many dogs & cats of all life stages have come into my care, to some capacity. This has led to experience with successfully redirecting a wide range of behaviors such as reactivity & stress obsessions to repeatedly pawing you in the face cause i love you so much & please keep petting meeee!! I've participated in puppy training, training of all life stages, played the medication dances.. there is slim chance i haven't done it at least once, when i comes to dogs. p.s. After i meet your dog i will likely come home wishing i could take them with me... 😉 but i won't.. promise.

I take safety and emotional well-being seriously. I’m highly aware of canine body language & individual preferences & I tailor my approach to each pets needs. On walks, I use consistent safety measures such as shielding your dog from unfamiliar humans or animals & steering clear of potential stressors. My priority is creating an environment where your dog feels protected and understood—and where you can trust that their safety is always at the forefront.

I first met Selene when I took my 6 month old puppy Gerald to Petco for grooming and right away I was very comfortable in trusting her with him. She has been there to help with Gerald since then and when he sees her his tail wags and he gets excited. As you know, dogs cannot tell you when something is wrong so when you find someone you can trust you tend to follow them and stick with them. We were very sad when Selene told us she was moving up north and I haven't been able to find someone as good as her since then. She is very gentle and loving with him. I would highly recommend her for any type of pet sitting or walking.

Schedule
I am grateful to work from home. Being tied to one less location creates space for me to tend to your dogs needs & mine with ease. My work days start later in the morning & i don't work past 7pm. This means i have plenty of time to comfortably get yours pups day started & wound down during the week.

- Unique behaviors, likes & dislikes are for sure things i would like to know beforehand. It's super important for me to know if they have any allergies and/ sensory sensitivities. What their social preferences & hard lines are. I would like to know if they have any fears or sneaky habits so i can set us up for success! In some cases i may ask permission to bring my dog along for walks or house sitting. This would be only after your pup & myself have gotten comfortably familiar with each other. Along with if i decide it may be a good fit. I am very protective of my senior pups peace so it will heavily depend on various elements. Plus, i want to ensure your dog gets the attention they need most when with me!
