I'm good with cats and dogs, and some "alternative pets"( lizards, snakes, birds, and other furry friends).. No breed preference, but I LOVE squishy, wrinkly faces! (That's why I love bulldogs!) I would prefer to handle non-dog-aggressive or other aggressive behaviors, however given the proper owner coaching/instructions on how to work with these behaviors I can be flexible.
A typical day
Your fur baby will be well cared for, played with, and will get ALL of the pats. I cater my services based on the pet's needs, but a typical drop in would entail a walk, belly rubs, and play time!

Pet care experience
A lot of folks say it, but I mean it! I am a dog owner and have always had animals in my life in some way - even the "creepy crawly" ones. I am an ex vet-tech, and know how to handle most situations with furry friends (I can give meds or cut toenails..just ask!) I am also a former volunteer with the Chicago Humane Society, and work with several animal nonprofits in the Seattle area. I currently work part-time, but my schedule is flexible so I can easily attend to your pet's needs. I am a responsible professional who will make sure your pet receives the care they deserve. I will care for your baby like my own! Send me a message (I will get back to you as soon as possible) to set up a time to meet face to face to make sure its a great fit for you and your fur-baby.

Selena is a wonderful pet owner and lover. On top of making sure pets needs are met, she goes the extra mile. She loves to celebrate birthdays with a bang, Halloween is always a good time, and anytime to have extra fun with the pets in general, Selena is there with a smile. She is patient and always ready for cuddles. I would feel happy and safe if my pets were in Selena’s care.
Selena has been helping me with my dogs for almost 20 years. I’ve had three different dogs that she has stayed with in my home while I have been on extended trips, and she has also walked my dogs for several weeks at a time. You can tell she really loves animals and she can also be trusted. She wants even took my dog to the emergency vet when I was out of the country and took a day off of her regular job to be there for my dog. She really goes above and beyond!
Selena is an energetic, responsible, caring individual who absolutely loves dogs. She has tons of experience with taking care of animals, and I would definitely recommend her to be a dog caregiver!
