Longtime dog lover here who had a pup growing up, but these days my life isn't suited to a full-time dog, so here I am. I fostered a rescue (a sweet but troubled pit named Matilda) during Covid lockdown, and volunteered at the LA County Animal Services shelter as well. My volunteer work included lots of cleaning up after dogs and taking dogs for walks and playtime for much-needed socialization, exercise, and getting used to being a pet and enjoying people's company. I completed LA County's Fear Free animal handling training and hands-on training with their animal care technicians in safe and humane dog handling. My time with my rescue gave me a lot of experience helping a troubled dog learn to be a pet again and bond and play with people. When we first met she didn't understand that the toys I offered were meant for her and didn't seem to understand playing; getting past that hurdle took a lot of patience for us both. $20 off your first appointment! I’ve known Sebastian for over 25 years, and have seen him love and care for many dogs during that time. He is one of the most responsible people I know, and I would leave my own pup with him if he lived closer to us. Sebastien would be a great dog sitter/walker for any dog, but especially those who would like to go for a long walk, a hike, or just explore the outdoors.
In knowing Sebastian for many years, I can attest to his love of animals and how they are accepting of his calm demeanor, including my two shy girls. As a rescue advocate, he even fostered a very challenging and strong dog for a while! She grew to love him and his continued patience with her helped her overcome some of her fears that were a result of her sad past. In knowing the progress she made in his care, I am confident in Sebastian’s ability to care for pups of all sizes, temperaments and demeanors! My dog is quite shy and timid, but it didn't take long for Sebastian to win her over! He's very patient and allows the dog to warm up. He's active, playful and a true dog lover. Most importantly, he's extremely trustworthy, dependable, and communicative so, while you'll probably still miss your pup while you're away, you can rest easy knowing they are in the best hands!

Schedule
I work full time, so my availability will mainly be weekends and evenings. I work from home Mondays and Fridays so have more flexibility there.
