Her nickname was "Silly Moose," and she taught me everything about patience, unconditional love, and the joy of a wagging tail. I founded this business to carry on her legacy by treating every pet I meet with that same "Moose-sized" love. 📬 The "Pet's Best Friend" Professional By day, I’m a Letter Carrier, which truly makes me a pet's best friend! I’m out in the community every day, rain or shine, and I’ve mastered the art of making friends with every pup on the block. My career means I am exceptionally reliable, punctual, and used to being active in all types of weather. 🐾 Rescue-Tested Experience When I’m not on my route, I’m dedicated to rescue work. I am a current volunteer at Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, and I previously spent time with the ASPCA as a shelter walker and dog photographer. These roles have given me invaluable experience with all personality types—from the shyest "underdogs" needing a patient hand to high-energy pups ready for an adventure. 🐈⬛ Tailored Care for Cats While the dogs are out walking, the feline family members aren't forgotten! I offer tailored services specifically for cats. As a "servant" to two cats who rule my own home, I know that every cat is unique—whether they want high-energy laser chasing, gentle brushing, or just some quiet company. I’m happy to handle feedings, litter box maintenance, and plenty of "slow blinks." 🏠 My "Moose" Crew at Home My home is shared with Buttercup, my sweet 5-year-old blue nose Staffordshire Terrier, and my two feline house-rulers. Because I live with a Staffy, I am especially comfortable and experienced with "bully breeds" and larger, powerful dogs. 🤝 The Silly Moose Promise Whether it’s boarding, walking, or house sitting, I know your pets are your family. Drawing from my experience with Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, I never force a connection. I use "slow blinks" with cats and respectful body language with dogs to let them come to me. Whether they are shy rescues or high-energy "Silly Mooses," I meet them where they are. 2. Structured Walks & Sensory Play As a Letter Carrier, I know the streets like the back of my hand. I don’t just "walk" dogs; I provide structured outings. This includes sniffing breaks for mental stimulation (sensory play) and consistent pacing to ensure they get the physical exercise they need. 3. Meticulous Routine & Safety Pets thrive on consistency. I stick strictly to your feeding, medication, and bathroom schedules. My background in hospitality means I have a sharp eye for detail—I check water bowls, ensure gates are latched, and keep litter boxes "deep-clean" fresh for my feline clients. 4. Communication is Key I know how much you miss them! You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can see the "Wag" in action. I treat your home with the same respect I give my own, ensuring everything is secure and tidy. 5. Specialized Skills From handling "bully breeds" like my Staffy, Buttercup, to administering medications or even bathing a reluctant cat, I have the hands-on experience to handle the unexpected with a calm, steady hand.
