Pet care experience
Hi! I am a former cat dad for nearly 15 years and grew up with a dog, cat, and a guinea pig. Unfortunately, I lost my fur baby the year before the pandemic and still miss her dearly. Now I am looking to help care for pets in the Richmond area while I am between jobs. I have been on the client side of the experience having asked friends to watch my cat as I traveled quite frequently in the latter part of her life (2012-2019) so I understand the specific needs of pet owners. For example, my cat had a kidney condition, which required an oral medication and a specific diet for the last four years of her life. I would like to care for standard pets rather than the exotic kind.

Sean took care of my dogs a few times and I was never disappointed. My dogs were happy to see him every time he visited them. Sean sent me updates frequently when my dogs were under his care. Sean also followed the special instructions that I left for him. I would highly recommend Sean.
I've known Sean for nearly 20 years now and he's always been a cat lover and advocate for animal well being. We met as house mates where I was able to meet his loving cat, Salish and watch him first hand affectionately care for and love him. I learned a lot about cats from Sean which came in handy when I was eventually able to get my first cat. As a former member of the Rover community (I hope to return soon!), I would easily trust Sean with my cat (or any pet) and highly recommend him as a pet sitter for the Rover community.
