I’ve rescued 2 dogs over the years and have learned a lot. I currently am the proud owner of a 5 y/o dog, Opal, and 11 y/o cat, Olive. Happy to host dogs who are cat-friendly. Even better if our pups can walk and play together.

Sean was the most amazing sitter for my pup, Cudi!! We have relied on Sean multiple times to watch Cudi multiple times and he always delivered expert care for Cudi every time! Sean took him on beautiful hikes and always kept us updated with pictures and videos!

Sean was amazing. It was clear that he cared about the wellbeing of my dog and he made sure that I felt comfortable leaving my pup with his dog and cat. He brings a calming presence, which I’m sure many puppy owners can appreciate. It was also my dog’s one of first times interacting with a cat, and Sean handled it like a pro. He sent frequent updates with pictures and videos which I really appreciated. His dog, Opal, was also very sweet and got along with my dog really well. I definitely recommend him and would go back again next time.

Schedule
I work from home in Bernal and love taking walks as work breaks. I am happy adding in some extra pet love (walks, feeding, checking in on) to my weekly routine. Bonus points if our dogs can be walked together :)

Safety, trust & environment
Taking care of pets is something I take very seriously. Consistency, patience and some structure are hugely important. We got our dog as a high-energy puppy and I put in a ton of work training her and acclimating her to living with our older cat. They’re best friends now! I’m fully equipped for dogs and cats at home and for structured walks with even multiple dogs around Bernal Hill & the Mission. Let me know about your needs and routines so I can help fill in and not disrupt!
Pets
A typical day
I love to take dogs around Bernal Hill and surrounding neighborhoods. I know all the good parks and also like to drive to Glen Park or the East Bay for longer hikes or runs. I like to give pups a balance of sniffing time, play time and calm time outside - all are important for stimulating a pup. I also like taking our dog to breweries or just letting her and our cat hang out in our yard.
