A Dog Obsessed Family Home
We absolutely adore dogs and your little one will be spoiled rotten staying with us. We have experience caring for a special needs dog (our Frenchie was paralyzed for over 5 years before he passed away!). He needed assistance going pee and poop every day; so there is literally no dog who is too challenging for us. We have a huge back yard that is completely secured with a fence. Both of us work from home- so your dog will be closely watched, snuggled and loved throughout the day. While we have small children in the house, they have been trained to treat dogs gently and with love. Rest assured our toddlers will treat your doggy with respect! We will love yours as if they were our own, because we are dog lovers to the bone. It is rare that we ever leave dogs alone in the house, and when it happens it’s usually for a short trip to pick our kids up from school, gymnastics or soccer! One of us is almost always home to monitor and care for the dogs we host! We have a large four bedroom house. When your dog stays with us, our home is their home! We leave the back door open so they have access to our backyard that is completely fenced in and secure. We have AC units downstairs and in our bedroom so dogs (and us!) are comfortable even through the summer heat! We require a meet and greet for all new dogs before we complete the booking. This offers a chance to make sure that your pup feels comfortable in this new environment. It also provides an opportunity to discuss your dogs unique needs prior to the sitting. Both Amy and Sean work from home during the week, so your dogs will have constant attention. We usually “divide and conquer” on the weekends when we have kids activities to manage. So one of us is almost always home! We have a large four bedroom house, with a big backyard (and a hill that is very popular with the dogs we watch)! It is completely fenced in and secure. We also installed a baby gate on our front porch to keep dogs from slipping out when we open the front door!

Sean and Amy are the best! We know we can trust them to love our dog Chance just as much as we do! They always share detailed updates and tons of photos! It’s so great to know he’s in great hands and not have to worry about him when we are away!
Amy and Sean love my dog and he is so happy at their house! Lots of playtime and snuggles and they send me videos, pictures, and written updates while he is there.
My anxious 11 year old pup has been happy to see me grabbing my keys in the morning and runs right in when I bring her to daycare. She doesn’t like being alone and she is so happy when I pick her up at the end of the day. The energy Sean and Amy provide encourages Daisy to feel safe and relaxed. So much peace of mind for me while I’m at work.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean and Amy! Whiskey was so well cared for and he had so much fun playing with his new puppy friends and Sean and Amy’s family. We will absolutely be re-booking with them!
Sean and Amy were amazing when taking care of our Mist! Consistent communication with pictures we always knew what was going on. We will 100% keep them in mind when booking our next trip.
I’m so happy Sean and Amy boarded Jersey this past weekend. They clearly love dogs and Jersey came home happy and tired from all the playing. I really appreciated the pictures and updates they sent each day. Will definitely use them again!

Home characteristics
A typical day
Either the dogs or our six year old wakes us up first usually by 6AM! We let everyone outside while we prepare breakfast. Our 8 year old wakes up shortly after and greets each dog with some hugs and kisses. She is a self proclaimed “dog whisperer.” The day is then filled with lots of playtime, love and attention that is capped off by a long walk around the neighborhood with the family. If your dog is good off leash, they might play fetch at the park at the end of our street. During hot months, we sometimes wait until dark to take a big walk. Dinner is then served followed by couch time snuggles until it’s time for bed. We welcome all K-9’s to spoon if that is their jam! If not, that’s ok too! Lights out!

- Your dog needs to be good around small children and other dogs. We usually have more than one pup at a time and we want to make sure things remain playful. Yes, the occasional scuffle may occur, in which case we put on our referee hats and break it up! We are careful to make sure each dog is actually enjoying the playtime and if we see one who isn’t happy, we will bring them upstairs for cuddles in bed away from the other pups.
