Dog Beach "Regulars"
We are a couple living in Cayucos and we both grew up with dogs and have had them for our entire adult lives. We have also been pet sitting our colleagues' and friends' dogs for years! We have raised our girl, Piper, from a puppy to a senior dog. We also are raising our boy, Denali (born 12/2/24), so we have experience taking care of dogs at all ages!

Leslie took great care of Bolt during my visit to the Hearst Castle. The location is perfect, I dropped him at 1pm and was on time for my 2:10 tour. Leslie provided frequent updates with photos and even took him for a walk. Highly recommended.
Oscar had a great stay with Seamus and Leslie! I was worried Oscar would be nervous about a new place but he went right with them and was well taken care of. They sent updates and photos of Oscar too. I’m so glad I found Oscar a great place to stay while we toured the area.
Seamus and Leslie were very easy to communicate with and made our pups feel right at home! They had fun beach walks and lots of love. We'll be biking with them again the the future!

Seamus is super friendly and was incredibly helpful with not only taking best care of my dogs, he also suggested a great itinerary for us while we are in the area. He sent a bunch of photos and updates. He is also super prompt with responding.

Schedule
We are both professors at Cal Poly and have a lot of freedom in our schedules. We walk our dogs, on average, 2 times a day and are regulars at the dog beach! We love meeting new dogs and look forward to devoting our time to ensure your pet is well-cared for whether you are at work or out of town!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard and enclosed deck that gives our dogs (and yours!) an opportunity to spend plenty of time outside. We also live only 3 blocks from the Morro Bay dog beach, so we would love to take your dog(s) along with us to socialize with other pets/humans and enjoy this beautiful place we call home. We treat all dogs we watch like members of the family. Dogs are allowed anywhere in our home and furniture is NOT off limits. We can guarantee a ton of walks, snuggles, treats (if you oblige), and one-on-one attention. Let's chat and make a plan!

A typical day
The dog beach is our second home! In addition to walking 2-3 times a day, your dog can expect as much or as little outside time as they desire given we have a fenced in yard! We also love to play fetch and tug-of-war. Your pet can expect tons of pets, regular brushing, and treats. Really, we will treat your dog like our own (and they are super spoiled).

- Please let us know ahead of time if your pet requires any special medications or has a specific routine so we can plan accordingly. We want to ensure the best possible stay for your dog! Also, please let us know if your dog has shown signs of aggression in the past with larger female or male dogs. Our girl, Piper, is a very chill senior dog and we would not want to unnecessarily stress her out or cause harm to your pet or ours. Similarly, our boy, Denali, is a very sweet pup and we would not want to cause any unfavorable socialization experiences as he grows up. **Special Notes: for extended boarding stays (longer than 3 days) we require 1 day of doggy day care or boarding in advance of the stay to ensure a good fit before booking. Additionally, at this time we cannot accept dogs who are not potty trained, are destructive, are aggressive, or have severe separation anxiety.**
