A Typical Day at Bumblelina's No two dogs are quite the same, so no two days are exactly alike — and that's exactly how it should be. That said, there's a gentle rhythm to life here that most dogs settle into beautifully. Days begin with calm, unhurried arrivals — because how a dog starts their day matters. From there, we head out for woodland walks, breathing in fresh air and taking in the sights and smells of the countryside at a pace that suits each dog. Every dog wears a Tractive tracker throughout their stay, giving dog parents free access via the app to follow their adventures, monitor their activity and wellbeing, and enjoy a little peace of mind from wherever they are. Back at Bumblelina's, the day flows naturally between our secure outdoor zones — the social area, the light agility space and quieter spots for those who simply want to potter or snooze in the sunshine. The temperature-controlled cabin is always on hand for rest, shelter or a peaceful wind-down. Throughout the day, I keep a careful eye on energy levels, mood and how everyone is getting along — balancing play with rest, and company with calm.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, Trust & Environment At Bumblelina's, safety isn't an afterthought — it's woven into every corner of everything we do, because your trust means the world to me and your dog's wellbeing is always the priority. Our setting is something truly special. Set within a third of an acre of secure, dog-regulated fenced land that looks out over a beautiful woodland, it's a space that feels as open and natural as it is safe and considered. The environment has been designed to give dogs genuine freedom to explore, play and relax — without ever compromising on security. The outdoor area is monitored by cameras and illuminated by security lighting, so eyes are always on the pack, whatever the time of day. At the heart of it all sits a purpose-built dedicated dog cabin, maintained at the ideal canine comfort temperature of 15–21 degrees — a warm, properly regulated and supervised space where dogs can rest, shelter or simply take a quiet moment away from the excitement of the day. Outside, the land flows naturally across three distinct zones — a social area for gentle interaction, a light agility space for those with a little more spring in their step, and a dedicated relaxation zone for those who simply want to soak it all in. All secured behind key code gating, so nothing is left to chance. Indoors, dogs are very much at home — free to roam, settle on the sofa and be part of the family. I don't believe in crating unless it's something a dog is already used to and their parents specifically request it. This is their home away from home, and it should feel exactly like that. I am fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained, and I keep numbers intentionally low — because genuine care and proper attention simply can't be rushed or spread too thin. When your dog is here, they are truly looked after. That's not just a promise — it's personal.

Information Scott W. would like to know about your pet
Please share routine, feeding, medical needs, behaviour, recall, socialisation and anxieties. This helps me tailor care and use outdoor zones safely for each dog.Getting to Know Your Dog Every dog that comes to Bumblelina's is an individual, and I'd love to know yours properly before they arrive. A little time spent sharing the details that matter — their routine, feeding schedule, any medical needs, how they are with recall and other dogs, and anything that worries them — means I can hit the ground running and ensure their time here feels familiar, safe and settled from the very start. The more you tell me, the better. Whether it's a quirk, a comfort blanket or a particular trigger, nothing is too small to mention. It also helps me make the best use of our outdoor zones in a way that suits your dog's temperament and confidence. I'm particularly fond of friendly, well-socialised dogs and have a genuine soft spot for working and active breeds — Alsatians, Vizslas, Spaniels, Labradors, Gundogs and Sheepdogs among them. That said, I always look at the dog before the breed, and temperament will always matter more to me than pedigree. I'm also very happy to care for dogs with additional needs — whether that's anxiety, age-related care or daily medication — and I'll always have an honest conversation beforehand to make sure I can give them exactly what they need. No dog is too much trouble, as long as we plan together.

What Fun Activities Will We Get Up To? Life at Bumblelina's is never short of adventure. At home, scent games, ball pit, gentle social play and light agility in our secure outdoor zones keep minds busy and tails wagging. But we don't just stay home. For those ready to explore a little further, I love taking the Bumblelina's pack on what I call dogXpeditions — proper outdoor adventures that feed the soul and tire the legs in the very best way. Our local patch is genuinely beautiful, and we make the most of every bit of it. Ashdown Forest is a firm favourite — vast, wild and utterly glorious for a good roam. Marden Park Woodland Trust offers wonderful, sheltered trails that never get old, whilst the National Trust woodlands provide peaceful on-lead walks through some truly breathtaking scenery. Closer to home, Limpsfield Common and Titsey Woodland are brilliant for a good sniff and an explore, whatever the season. And as summer arrives, I'm hoping to treat the pack to some very special dogXpeditions to the beach — because every dog deserves to feel the sand beneath their paws at least once. Whether it's a gentle woodland amble or a big day out, every adventure is chosen with the dogs in mind — safe, considered and always full of joy.

Reviews

This was the second stay with Scott for Sadie and she seemed like she had a great time. She was a tired pup in the evening which is always a good sign that she's had a good time.

Sadie had a great day with Scott and I was greeted by a happy dog. Scott provided good communication throughout the day and was easy to get a hold of. It's a lovely environment for the dogs to play around in, relax in the air-conditioned cabin and Scott took Sadie for a nice woodland walk. I would be happy to rebook!

Button had a wonderful day with Scott. Lots of wonderful walks, play and rest. Thank you for the wonderful videos and photos, so lovely to see after a long day at work. Thanks Scott and we shall see you again soon!

Archie loved his stay with Scott and will definitely be back. The garden is build specifically for dogs with secure fencing and a ball pit. Highly recommended
