Hi! I’m a passionate and reliable dog carer with many years of hands-on experience looking after a wide range of breeds, including Boxers, Patterdales, German Shepherds, and mixed breeds. I’m confident handling dogs of all ages and temperaments, from energetic puppies who need structure and play, to gentle senior dogs who require patience, comfort, and a slower pace. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and understand the importance of routine, medication schedules, and providing a calm, attentive environment. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing will always be my top priority, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.

Scott was absolutely fantastic felt so at ease great communication and my boy has a heart murmur needs medication and this was not an issue so comforting to know I have a local pet sitter I trust 5*!!

We couldn’t be happier with Scott. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he genuinely loves and understands dogs. Both of my dogs were relaxed, happy, and completely at ease in his care. What impressed me most was seeing my girl, who is normally quite distant and wary of strangers, happily asking Scott for belly rubs and attention. That level of trust is rare for her and speaks volumes about his calm and caring nature. Finding someone you can trust with your pets is priceless, and I’m so grateful we found Scott. Highly recommended!

Scott was amazing, I was so nervous to leave Nala but I had nothing to worry about. Scott send pictures & videos showing how much fun they were having, could not recommend Scott highly enough.

Schedule
I am currently working from home on a non strict timetable, so i am fully able to care for any pets, including walks, relaxing times, feeding, boarding

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s happiness and wellbeing are my top priority. Their day will include plenty of walks, playtime, sniffing adventures, cuddles on the sofa, and quiet time to relax. I aim to keep routines as close to home as possible so dogs feel comfortable, settled, and stress-free. I have completed several animal care certifications including Animal Care, Stray and Feral Welfare Management, Introduction to Kennel and Cattery Management, Introduction to Feline Care, Introduction to Cat Grooming and Health, Introduction to Cat Behaviour, and Introduction to Animal Care. This training helps me understand animal behaviour, recognise stress signals, and provide calm, attentive care for every pet.

A typical day
Your dog’s day with me will be full of fun, care, and plenty of attention! Each day includes lots of lovely walks tailored to your dog’s age and energy level, giving them plenty of time to explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors. Back at home, there will be lots of playtime, enrichment, and interaction to keep them happy and mentally stimulated. Of course, there’s always time for cuddles and relaxation too, so your dog feels safe, comfortable, and right at home. I stick closely to your dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and any special requirements, so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. My aim is for every dog to have a fun-filled, loving home-from-home experience while you’re away.

- Before your dog’s stay, I like to gather a few important details to make sure I can provide the best possible care. Please let me know your dog’s usual walking and feeding routines, including portion sizes, timings, and any dietary requirements or allergies. It’s also important that I’m aware of any medical needs, medications, or health conditions, along with clear instructions on how these should be managed. I’d love to know about your dog’s temperament, likes and dislikes, favourite toys, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and settled. The more information you can share, the easier it is for me to keep your dog happy, safe, and following a routine that feels just like home.
