Peace of Mind Starts Here

Hi there — I’m Scott! I’ve spent the last 10+ years caring for dogs and giving owners the one thing they want most: total peace of mind. I’ve worked with more than 500 families, earned 193+ five-star reviews, and I still genuinely love what I do every single day. - Why families trust me Decade of professional experience in pet care, dog training, and behavior. Former staff at a no-kill rescue and founder of Standard Pet Care. Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator with extensive obedience and therapy-dog training experience. Comfortable with all breeds, including strong, reactive, senior, or medically fragile dogs. I’ve personally lived with a Boerboel, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Pitbull—so big, powerful breeds are nothing new to me. I’ve also successfully cared for dogs with aggression histories, special medical needs, and seniors who need a gentle, consistent routine. - My care philosophy Your dog’s safety is non-negotiable. I don’t allow off-leash greetings with strange dogs or people, and I follow your training rules exactly as you’ve set them. If you’re working on specific manners or behaviors, I’ll help reinforce them while you’re away. My goal is simple: You relax. Your dog thrives. Clear communication, daily updates, and thoughtful attention to detail are my standard—every time. - If I’m staying in your home I treat your home with the same respect I give to your dog. Many clients joke that I leave their place cleaner than I found it. You can expect reliability, professionalism, and complete trustworthiness from start to finish. - Extra services I also run a weekly poop-scooping service, Mad Beach Pet Waste Co., if you want your yard kept clean. Scott was absolutely awesome with Lucy! He is knowledgeable about dogs and their habits. He was very caring with Lucy and respectful of our routine with her. Scott sent pictures and notes everyday as to how she was doing. We liked his easy going demeanor at our first meet and his concern for her care and safety. Should we have need for a sister in the future, he will be the only person we call! ☺️

Scott gets 5 stars from us! This was the first time we have ever required the services of a Rover dog walker/sitter and, right away, Scott’s confidence with our dog gave us confidence and eased any worries or concerns we had introducing a new person and new routine to our dog. His dog training experience paired with his experience working with dogs that are hesitant to trust new people was clear when our selective pup warmed up to him almost immediately within their very first visit. Scott was communicative, always on-time, and we’d recommend him to anyone on this app!

Scott does awesome with my pup! I was nervous about having someone walk him, he’s a big boy (80lbs) who likes to pull. But Scott has him walking perfect, and calm right next to him! I get a bunch of pics of the walk as well. Scott has been very reliable and easy to work with.
