I always start by learning each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. Most importantly though, I follow the owner’s instructions closely. My goal is to make the pet feel like nothing has changed, even though their owner is away. For walks and drop-in visits, I enjoy getting to know each pet and finding fun ways to keep them happy and engaged. Depending on their personality and energy level, that might include going for a walk, playing fetch, trying interactive games, spending time outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and affection. I like offering more than one way for pets to get their energy out while also making sure they have everything they need before I leave. For house sitting, I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, play, and bedtime routines while keeping them company and making sure the home stays clean and secure. Since every pet is different, I’m always happy to adjust my care to their individual temperament, preferences, and needs.

Scott is amazing, and I truly could not recommend him more! He does an incredible job with my reactive 90-lb dog and has handled him better than I ever could. Scott always makes sure he gets plenty of mental stimulation, physical activity, and, most importantly, lots of love so he can be his happiest self. Scott is attentive, dependable, and extremely responsible. Whenever he stays in my home, he is respectful of the space and somehow manages to leave it even cleaner than when I left! I have complete peace of mind knowing my dog is in Scott’s care. Your pets would be incredibly lucky to have Scott care for them. He genuinely goes above and beyond, and I cannot recommend him enough!
Scott is one of the most dependable, responsible, trustworthy,considerate, and kind people I know. Scott handles my 85 pound pit, husky, lab beautifully- he provides limits but very gently- which is important because my dog is sensitive to discipline. My dog absolutely loves him. He also keeps the house clean and tidy. I highly recommend Scott as a Dog sitter. He is always my first choice when I need one.

Schedule
My schedule as a substitute teacher gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I typically work anywhere from 2-4 days Monday-Friday, usually from around 8 AM–3 PM, so I have plenty of availability before and after school, as well as on days when I’m not teaching. I love being active, spending time outdoors, and being around animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to fitting into my routine. Whether it’s a walk, time to play, a drop-in visit, or house sitting, I’m happy to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need!
