Warm and Pup loving home
We have had many breeds of dogs, varying from young to old. I have cared for healthy dogs as well as ones with health issues. Currently we have one VERY spoiled elderly pup, Princess, 11 yr old Shih Tzu mix, she was rescued in 2019. We are dog lovers and have raised puppies as well as older rescue dogs We offer a very dog friendly home and will provide a home away from home environment for your pup. You can have absolute confidence in knowing that your pet is well taken care of and is given superior loving care. Remember, you're on vacation, and they're on vacation too. I am retired with years of pup experience. Generally I am available at a moment's notice IF you're a past client, and have done a meet & greet prior. There is always someone here with your loved one, and they are never left alone. I have 30 years of dog ownership experience, I will do whatever it takes and what the parents want in terms of care for their fur babies.(the purpose of my meet & greet) so the parents and pups are comfortable and the stay is stress-free.

Scott and Amanda were AMAZING caretakers for our pup especially being the first time we have ever let anyone else other then “grandma” watch her. And to see her roam free was so amazing, play fetch, beach walks, convertible rides! Come one! What a life while mom and dad are away!! She was well loved and we got updates along the way. She also had fun playing with Princess which was an unexpected surprise for us too! All around it was Great and we couldn't be more pleased and happy to know we have someone we trust again for the future!!
Scott was great!! He was very accommodating with all of Sadie’s needs and our concerns. He mentioned a few activities that he would do and showed us where Sadie would go out and play. The area was fenced in and very secure. He has two dogs of his own and they were very friendly and Sadie got along great with them.We felt very comfortable after dropping Sadie with Scott. We highly recommend him, and would certainly use his services anytime.
Scott is a very reliable and dog loving guy who will take great care of any one of your animals! He has experience with training and takes my dogs on nice long walks (which they love). I 100% recommend Scott for your dog care needs :)

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is fenced and is the perfect play area for some outside fun. Our home is situated a block off Lake Michigan and surrounded by wooded trails. Our dog enjoy's a good daily walk on the beach or in the woods and so can yours.
A typical day
We go for rides, walks, and enjoy plenty of play time! If your dog needs an extra work out we might go for a long beach walk, swim in the summer or take a hike in the woods near our house. Snuggles on the couch are very common as well!
