Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up on a farm where I helped care for chickens and ducks from a young age and supported with pigs and dairy cows too. At home, we had Jack Russells called Punch and Judy who were full of personality and kept me on my toes. I’ve owned dogs all my life and have over 10 years of pet sitting experience, looking after everything from energetic puppies to more senior pets. These days, I share my home with my cat Big George (the beautiful beast in the photo), so I wouldn’t be able to host your dog at mine but I’m very happy to stay in your home so your pet feels relaxed and comfortable in their own environment. I’ve looked after cats as well and had one of my own for 3 years, so I’m equally confident with feline friends. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime or just keeping them company, I’m happy to fit in with your pet’s usual routine.

We are just back from a 2 week vacation (overseas). This was our first time using Rover, although not first time having our house and dog looked after. I am very pleased with the experience. Scott communicated well prior to and during the sit, the house was left tidy and Dasher looked happy. Dasher is a 10 year old Golden Retriever with some anxieties - despite a heatwave, it is clear that Scott was able to manage him well. Thank you Scott

Scott was great when he looked after our 1 year old golden retriever for the day, he seemed to really care about what we wanted, would definitely book again!
This was the first time I had used scott but it definitely won’t be the last. I have quite a dog reactive Rottweiler and I was a little nervous leaving her with someone she didn’t know so Scott came over to meet her twice before his stay and came on a walk with us so that I could show him commands and recall. I was away for a week and he sent me video updates to show how settled she was with him. When I got home my house was very clean and he even stripped the bed and washed his bedding …. I shan’t hesitate to use him again and can’t recommend him highly enough

Schedule
I work flexibly from home/remotely so can be available anytime, and at short notice. I have a car so I’m happy to travel to where i am needed

I can’t host dogs because of my cat, but I’m more than happy to stay in your home to keep your pet relaxed and happy. Clean, calm, and always respectful of your space.

I like to keep things calm and playful, plenty of attention, fresh air and fun. Walks, fetch, belly rubs, or just chilling in the garden.
