Safety, trust & environment

Safety is priority number one when it comes to caring for pets, for both me and the animals. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.

Information Scott P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know any special care and feeding instructions ahead of time. I have no problem accommodating special needs pets, administering medication (oral, injectable, etc), or following any specific instructions as long as I am made aware ahead of time.

A typical day

Your pets' wellbeing will be my top priority, so I always pay close attention to what it is they need first. Making sure they're fed according to instructions is number one, and then we can really have fun! I love playing outside and going on walks for hours, but if your pet is more of a homebody I love that too! I want to make sure they feel cared for and had a great time with me by the time I leave.

Pet care experience

I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my whole life, from cats to horses to dogs of all sizes! Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. I have cared for many senior and small breed dogs as well, so your pets will receive the upmost care no matter the age or size! I love working with as many unique personalities and animals as I possibly can, and will work tirelessly to make sure they receive the care they need.

Scott is the most responsible person I ever met, and quite the animal lover! He’s very knowledgeable of proper pet care for dogs AND cats, will play with them for hours, and with snuggle all night long with them!

Being good for pet sitting means being responsible, caring, and attentive to the needs of animals. It involves providing a safe and comfortable environment, ensuring they are fed and exercised, and offering plenty of affection. A good pet sitter is reliable, communicates well with pet owners, and can handle any unexpected situations that may arise, giving pet owners peace of mind while they're away and Scott is all of those

Scott is a wonderful and caring person who not only cares about pets, but about their humans. We have always trusted Scott with our dogs and cat. He has sitted for our Saint Bernard, Great Dane and Newfoundland as well as our cat. He has always followed special care and feeding instructions. Our pets are very important to us and Scott has always been our first choice when we need to be away from them.
