I've had 2 cats now for the last 3-4 years and working from home have looked after them. Additionally I have looked after a small puppy when it's owners were away in the past and my parents have a dog that I have looked after/taken for walks etc.

Scott cat sit for our 2 British Shorthairs whilst we were in France for a week. Scott covered the basics, but as a long-time cat sitter on here myself and anxious about leaving our boys alone with a new person for the first time, I would have really appreciated more communication, updates and photos. I did request this upfront and several times during the booking, but I only received one photo of one cat throughout, which is unacceptable. I also had to chase each day to ensure the visit had taken place. I think this level of service might be acceptable if you are looking for a very "light-touch" cat sitter but the lack of communication created so much unnecessary stress and anxiety for us on our holiday. I left clear instructions but there were several oversights e.g. silica gel from treat packet left in treat tower, litter flushed instead of bagged and put in bin. I really dislike leaving negative reviews but I feel it is my responsibility to provide this feedback.
Scott has looked after our cats on two occasions now and he's been brilliant. Friendly, reliable, and the cats seem to like him! We will definitely continue to use his services in the future.

With 2 cats I have to make sure they are fed daily, along with ensuring they are well groomed, are up to date on their treatments and they litter is clean.
