Safety, trust & environment

I offer care in a home with a large fenced-in yard, giving dogs plenty of safe space to relax, play, and explore. Your pup will also have the company of my two friendly dogs, providing a natural social environment for those who enjoy companionship and gentle interaction. I maintain a calm, structured, and supervised setting so every dog feels comfortable, secure, and at ease—whether they prefer playtime, quiet time, or a mix of both.

Information Scott P. would like to know about your pet

Before meeting or walking a pet, I like to know their temperament, energy level, and any triggers or fears. I ask about leash behavior, reactivity to other dogs or people, and any medical needs. It’s also helpful to know their routine, favorite activities, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable.

A typical day

My typical day starts with a long walk with my dogs, usually covering 3–5 miles. It’s my favorite way to stay active, clear my head, and enjoy the outdoors. Throughout the day, I make it a point to bring positivity and joy to the people around me—whether that’s friends, family, or anyone I cross paths with. I value connection, good energy, and making each day a little brighter for others.

Pet care experience

I have many years of experience with dog walking, dog sitting, and hands-on animal care. I’ve also volunteered at local animal shelters, where I received training in working with reactive dogs—building patience, awareness, and safe handling skills in a variety of situations. Animals, especially dogs, have been a lifelong passion of mine. I genuinely enjoy building trust with each dog and understanding their individual personalities and needs. Outside of pet care, I’m an avid hiker and trail runner, and I bring that same energy and love of the outdoors into every walk. I believe that regular, active time outside is essential for a dog’s mental and physical well-being. It’s not just exercise, but enrichment. Sniffing new environments, moving their bodies, and engaging their senses helps create calmer, happier, more balanced dogs. Whether it’s a relaxed neighborhood walk or a more active outing, I focus on making sure every dog feels safe, engaged, and genuinely enjoys their time out.
