I work part-time from home in sales, usually taking 1–2 enquiries a day, with calls lasting around 30-60 mins. My schedule is flexible and I take the calls mostly in the evenings, which means I have lots of time during the day to care for your dog, take them on walks, and give them plenty of attention—alongside our own friendly pup. We don’t have children, so we’re able to accommodate early drop-offs, late collections, and last-minute bookings. We're also available during school holidays and over the Christmas period to look after your dog when you need it most.

Safety, trust & environment

Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is at the heart of how we care for pets in our home. Your dog will be welcomed into a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space, with 24/7 supervision and a secure garden for safe outdoor play. We have no children in the home, which helps maintain a peaceful environment, and our friendly resident dog is well-socialised and gets along with dogs of all sizes. Safety is my top priority. I’m fully qualified in canine CPR and first aid, and I take great care in monitoring every dog in my care to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe. Feeding schedules, medication, and exercise routines are all followed exactly as instructed. Trust and communication are key. I provide regular updates and photos so you can see how your dog is doing and feel confident they’re in good hands. I understand how important it is to feel at ease while you're away, and I aim to build a relationship not just with your pet, but with you as well. A homely environment, not a kennel. Your dog won’t just be boarded—they’ll be part of the family. With my flexible work-from-home schedule, they’ll have company throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. Whether it’s for a day, a weekend, or an extended stay, your pet will be cared for with the same love and attention I give my own.

A typical day

A Typical Day at Doggie Daycare – Fun, Safe & Full of Tail Wags! Here’s what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a warm welcome and some relaxed settling-in time. Once everyone’s comfortable, it’s time for our first morning walk—usually in the nearby park or a safe green space where your dog can stretch their legs, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. Walks are tailored to each dog’s energy level and needs. Late Morning to Midday: Back home, the dogs have time to rest, play with each other or chew on some toys. I also provide cuddles, belly rubs, and quiet time for any dogs that prefer a slower pace! Afternoon: We’ll go on a second walk (weather permitting), or have garden playtime in our secure outdoor space. This might include chasing toys, playing fetch, or socializing with our friendly resident dog - always under my supervision Late Afternoon: As the day winds down, we offer more calm and cozy time—ideal for dogs to nap, chew on a toy, or just relax. We’ll make sure they’re content, hydrated, and ready to be picked up feeling happy and well cared for. They are welcome to sleep on the sofas or the dog beds we provide or even our human beds! Fun Activities We Include: Ball and Frisbee play Social play with compatible dogs Basic command reinforcement (sit, stay, recall) Sensory stimulation (new smells, textures, and toys) Plenty of affection and one-on-one time Whether your dog loves to run and play or prefers quiet companionship, we tailor each day to suit their personality and needs—so every dog leaves with a wagging tail.

Pet care experience

About Us My partner Fraser and I have been lifelong dog lovers and proud pet parents. Over the years, I’ve owned a variety of breeds including Yorkshire Terriers, Boxers, Jack Russell's, and Chihuahuas. We currently share our home with our friendly female Chug (a Chihuahua-Pug cross), who gets along well with all dogs. We live in a spacious, dog-friendly three-bedroom house with a secure garden—perfect for playtime and relaxation. There are no children in the home, making it a calm and consistent environment for your pup. I work from home and am self-employed, usually taking just a few short sales calls each day in the evening. Outside of that, your dog will have my full attention, companionship, and care. Your pet will never be alone—we offer a loving, safe space with 24/7 supervision and plenty of play, cuddles, and comfort. I’m fully qualified in canine CPR and first aid, so you can rest assured that your dog is in safe and capable hands. Their health, safety, and well-being are my top priorities at all times. We regularly take the dogs in our care on walks at Ferry Meadows, the Rowing Lakes, and The Grange (Netherton Football Club), and we love visiting Thorney Dog Park to give them space to play and socialize. These familiar locations help us provide safe, engaging, and enriching experiences for the dogs in our care.

Scott & Frasier, provided an excellent and homely environment for Sergey our three year old Dachshund. Normally our hound is rather nervous in a new environment, however in Scott's care he quickly found his confidence and had fun with the other boarding canines, so much so, that I suspect that he became quite the 'Romeo' to the female dogs. A big thank you to Scott for his undoubted skill and empathy in looking after Sergey.

Truffles had a great time at Scott's house. It was so dog friendly from the moment you arrive and Truffles was immediately adopted into the pack. She adjusted back home very well too. We loved all the updates we got.
