Pet care experience

Young professional that loves pets!

Hi! My name is Scott. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. I’ve always loved cats, but I’ve grown up with and taken care of lots of dogs, so I have a passion for both. I grew up on a ranch in southern Colorado where my family had a plenty of fuzzy buddies to take care of and it was the foundation for my love of dogs and cats (and chickens). When I was 16 I started doing petsitting gigs for family friends and people in my town, where I found ease and passion for something I’d been doing my whole life. Mostly in the realm of housesitting and dog walking. I’ve had experience with all types of animals, big and small, attention-loving and shy, elderly and young, etc. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, gerbils, turtles, and snakes. You can have full confidence that your pet will be well taken care of if you decide to hire me.

House Sitting • Jul 14, 2024

Scott did great with our pup! We booked him for house sitting services so our dog could feel confortable at home while we were away for a few days. He didn't mind the excessive cuddles our dog likes to give and even watered our garden so it would last through the heat wave that recently came through. He kept in touch with updates every day. Our dog will sometimes feel sad and not play as much while we're away but Scott sent pictures of him outside goofing around with a huge smile across his face. Would definitly book again in the future!

Fantastic experience! I have two special needs cats and Scott was wonderful with them! I’m especially grateful for him letting me extend my stay and the constant communication regarding my babies! I will definitely be back!

I’ve entrusted and favor Scott when I’m in need of a dog sitter. I leave town often and always ask him to watch my babies. My oldest dog, Felix has had multiple teeth removed and requires a special diet. I’ve confided in his ability to care for my animals (dogs, fish, hamster) and he never disappoints. He’s is very responsible, caring and personable! My fur babies love him:)!

Scott is one of the best caretakers I’ve ever had for my pets. He has been taking care of my pets for over 4 years now and he is my most trusted pet sitter. I have a older pit bull named Rocko who deals with arthritis. Scott ensure he receives his medication daily when I’m away. Additionally he takes him on walks to a local dog park in my neighborhood. What I appreciate most is his constant communication. Every time I call he picks up right away and he always provides updates to me about my pitty Rocko. He truly is one of the best pet sitters out there I highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment

My main goal when it comes to petsitting is making sure the routine I have with your pet mimics their usual routine as much as possible. I am all for play and attention of course, but I understand the importance of making sure the animal has little change from their usual day to day life, especially when it comes to disabled animals and elderly animals that need extra special care. That being said, I will give your buddy plenty of outside time and we’ll get play time in :). I’m able to board small/lower mid-sized dogs and cats at my place. I have a cat, but I keep her away from any visiting animals, as she is friendly but fairly small and also special needs.

Pets

A typical day

I love playing with dogs, so if you’ve got a high energy pup I will definitely be able to accommodate. I make sure to walk dogs in safe areas away from busy roads and make sure to give them plenty of space to roam. I am located in the Arvada area, so there are plenty of parks and walking paths to fulfill your pups exercise needs right in my neighborhood.

No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only

Scott can host up to 2 pets per night
I don’t have any particular preferences for animals because I’ve taken care of many different personalities/types, but if they have any persistent health issues I take it very seriously to know ahead of time so I can be steadfast in case of an emergency. The last thing I would want is your buddy to have a health crisis! So just let me know ahead of time and I will provide any special care I can.
