Summer Dog Walker or Sitter
I'm an owner of an at times reactive dog, so I am no stranger to dealing with sometimes aggressive behavior. Over the years caring for my own dog, she has improved in handling triggering situations through my own awareness and positive reinforcement. I'm also a teacher. Like children, supporting dogs' behavior requires positive reinforcement and making sure their needs are met. I'm comfortable with small groups of dogs, and have managed my own dog interacting with my in-law's three dogs. As your dog walker, I will provide your pets the same care and attention I give my own. As a sitter, I will make sure your pet gets the love and attention they usually get while you are away. I am clean, quiet and responsible, and will make sure your house in in the same condition when you return.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I offer positive reinforcement in the form of treats and kibbles to my own dog who is very food motivated. I try to make sure that the environment supports good behavior, therefore we use baby gates to ensure both our dog and cat can coexist. We also crate the dog over night, and ensure that things within reach are secure so as to ensure the dog's safety.

Scott is communicative about his schedule and easy to work with. We really appreciate how patient and careful he is with Cody, as Cody can be reactive on walks. We would definitely book again!
Scott is a kind, experienced dog walker who did great with two leash reactive dogs on a long walk. Quite impressive. New returning customer for sure, highly recommend him.

Scott would be a perfect caregiver for your pet! As a loving and dedicated pet parent himself (of both a dog and a cat!), he is so kind and patient in training and daily tasks, and also loves to have so much fun playing with pets - ensuring they have plenty of exercise and enrichment. He watched my own elderly cat several times when I had gone out of town, and always updated me on her vitamin and medication intake while making sure she was comfy and cozy. He really became one of her best friends - they watched plenty of Scooby Doo together! He also is definitely his own dog's best friend, and the two are inseparable. Scott is sure to become fast friends with your fur-babies and provide them with the best care!

Schedule
I am on summer break from June-August. As such, my availability to care for your pets is generally open. Morning, Afternoon, Evening. Gone for a vacation, and need a longer term house/pet sitter? I'm it!
