I currently live with my grandmother, a cat of my own and assortment of fish. Every morning feeding them all and making sure the cat has water is the first thing on my to-do list. I work in the office 5 days a week, but my grandmother is home throughout the day most days to let any dogs go to out. Basically, pet care is already a part of our routine and adding an extra pet will only extend the enjoyment!

Safety, trust & environment
Making sure your pet is comfortable with me, and the environment if they are at my house, is my top priority. I know how much attention dogs can crave and making sure they receive that is very important to me. When at my home, the dog will be allowed to roam free (assuming you wish that to be the case) whenever I am home, which is most of the time. When I do need to leave for more than an hour or 2 they will be left alone, I prefer to put them in a crate, but I know how stressful and boring that can be for them, so that will be kept to a minimum whenever possible. When at your home, I can follow whatever rules you'd like. As much as I love dogs, I can still be adamant that they know the rules and continue to follow them without causing any harm.

Information Scott H. would like to know about your pet
A few things I'd find useful to know are: How outgoing is you cat/dog? Do I need to be careful about loud noises or fast movements? How energetic is your dog? What are your favorite things to do with your pet? How friendly are they towards strangers/other dogs on walks? What is their play style? (Rough, gentle, jumpy, etc.)
A typical day
Living on a cul-de-sac, there is plenty of sidewalk around to go for long or short walks! I love to be outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially in summer, and having a dog to walk gives me a great excuse to be out there more. I also love to play with the pets I sit whether that is playing fetch, bumping around some mice on the floor, or using a toy on a string with the kitties!

Pet care experience
I've taken care taken care of pets for almost as long as I remember. My family always had multiple cats I was the 'big boy' in charge from when I was about 8. Outside of the house I was friends with a many dog owners and have experience around a variety of different breeds. I enjoy learning about the behavior of dogs and figuring out their personalities and how each dog is unique and requires its own specific care and attention.
Reviews

I have a cat with anxiety that I needed watched while I was out of town, Scott seemed like a really nice guy but I don’t think it was the best fit. I packed comfort items for my cat including his favorite blanket, toys, and some of my recently worn shirts (that he likes to sleep with when I’m away) and none of these were even unpacked from the bag for my cat. My cat did not receive a single dose of his medication while I was away. I came back several days early to go pick him up, he was dirty, dehydrated, and distressed. It’s been two weeks and he still has been unable to meow. In addition, somehow two months worth of expensive litter got used up in four days. I just don’t think this is a good fit for most cats. However, Scott was very good about communicating with me at least once a day and sending a photo, he was also very nice about the whole situation!
Scott was great. Communication was direct and helpful. Our pup was very content

We needed to find last minute boarding and Scott was amazing! Ηe provided updates and photos of our dog! Highly recommend and will definitely be using him again for future vacations!
Great stay !
