Pet care experience
We offer a calm, home-from-home environment for dogs who aren’t suited to kennels or who would prefer a peaceful and relaxed home and as much company as they would like. We work from home and are always on hand so your dog gets our full attention, space, and a genuinely relaxed stay. Our home is set on half an acre with secure fencing and gated access, giving plenty of safe outdoor space to explore. The house itself is fully secure, alarmed, and designed to be a comfortable, quiet environment. Both of us work from home, so your dog is rarely left alone and has consistent supervision, interaction, and care throughout the day. Each stay is tailored to your dog’s routine. Whether they prefer a more relaxed environment or lots of activity, we adapt to suit them. This can include: Regular access to the garden throughout the day Walks on Canford Heath (within walking distance) Visits to local secure dog parks Plenty of rest, attention, and companionship at home We aim to keep things as close as possible to your dog’s normal home life, so they feel settled and comfortable. This setup is particularly well suited to: Anxious or sensitive dogs Older dogs who benefit from a quieter environment And of course any dogs who like to be spoiled and be with people in general! It’s not a high-volume service — it’s designed for owners who want complete peace of mind while they’re away. We can also provide: Daily photo and video updates Pick-up and drop-off (by arrangement) Due to the nature of the service, availability is very limited and we tend to book up in advance, particularly during holidays. If you’re looking for a safe, calm, and genuinely home-based alternative to kennels, feel free to get in touch.
Reviews
We left our old dog, Cassie, with Scott and his family for nearly three weeks. Cassie bonded well with them and we received updates at regular intervals. We felt very reassured as we were apprehensive about leaving her, as she had not been away before. We would thoroughly recommend Scott and his family as perfect dog sitters.
I recently had Scott look after my dog Month, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care he provided! From the moment I met him, it was clear that Scott has a genuine love for animals. He took the time to get to know my dog’s personality and routine, and I felt totally at ease leaving my pet in his care. Scott was incredibly responsible and communicative throughout the entire time. He sent regular updates, including pictures and videos, which made me feel like I was right there with my dog. He even took my dog for daily walks and kept him engaged with fun activities. When I returned, my dog was calm, happy, and well-cared-for, which speaks volumes about Scott’s attention to detail and commitment to providing a positive experience for both the pet and the owner. I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter. I’ll definitely be booking him again in the future!
