I work from home at the moment, so I am usually available most times and most days to care for pets. I often run in the afternoons or evenings, but I might be available for dog walks (or runs) in the morning, too.

Safety, trust & environment

I live alone in a single bedroom apartment, so it's very quiet. There are lots of grounds nearby for dogs to relieve themselves. I can follow any care instructions you may have for me. I live on the 3rd floor and dogs like to go on my balcony and watch the people and other dogs go by down on the ground. When it's too hot to be on the balcony, dogs enjoy sitting at the window and watching that activity outside. I have a large basic dog bed. I usually keep that in the living room during the day and move it next to my bed at night. I have a large crate, but I only use it if the owner recommends using it while I'm away from home. Cats will like my quiet apartment. I don't have a cat tree, but if I have a cat stay for multiple days, I build a tower from boxes and cats like that.

Information Scott C. would like to know about your pet

Just let me know if you have any special requests for taking care of your pets, and I'll be happy to work with you. I've owned pets at all stages of life and have administered some meds and shots before.

A typical day

If I take care of dogs for multiple days, they'll get at least 3 potty brakes each day. They'll get at least one longer walk each day (~30 minutes) where we usually walk to the beach. Every other day, I will try to run with the dogs a few miles (if they're healthy enough for it and it's not too hot). We can play tug of war or whatever they enjoy. If I'm taking care of cats, I'll give them attention and play with them using a laser or feather toy once a day. I have a third floor balcony, so it's up to you if you want me to allow them out there or not.

Pet care experience

I am also available to do visits, boarding, etc. I will follow all instructions, so you can have peace of mind. I usually go running 2-3 times a week. I don't have any dogs at the moment, so I would love to take yours running. If they are out of shape, we'll just jog a little bit and work our way up. I always had dogs and cats growing up, so I have plenty of experience with them.

It was a pleasure having Scott look in on my fur babies. He was very attentive and caring taking extra time out of his day to spend with them. I recommend Scott and will definitely call on him again.
