I grew up with all types of dogs and quickly learned that they all had their own unique personalities and quirks. I later became dubbed a "dog psychologist", so fortunately it doesn't take long for dogs to warm up to me. I do not own a dog anymore and enjoy spending time with all types of dogs. Sometimes dogs do take time to settle in, so it's best to start out with a walk before taking them inside. I have access to a large enclosed rooftop patio to play or to get some sun. I have a lot of dog toys, but feel free to bring your own. I can also train doggos to do a few basic tricks, but I am not a professional. I will go running with dogs, if they can keep up. lol There are a lot of activities to do in my neighborhood, but when inside dogs love looking out my windows to watch all the people/dogs walk by and play with toys. I will go outside w them every couple hours. Im "working" from home on a part time basis, so I will spend a ton of time with your pet. I have decades of experience and great reviews. I try to respond to all requests immediately. I have a large extended family and they all leave their dogs with me. Thank you!!

Scott feed my kitty and maintained a positive attitude. He is a good person. However, his updates offered limited information. He showed up at 11:30 for morning feedings until I asked him to arrive sooner. Listened to my music without putting CD away. Left a ring stain on dinning room table from a glass. Otherwise, no issues.
Scott was so thoughtful. Took a late booking, looked after Steve our 3 yr old lab, communicative and paid attention to details on my dog’s reactivity. Highly recommend and will book again.
Scott was great watching my high-energy border collie for 2 days. He was timely and communicative, and I'd definitely recommend him.

Schedule
I'm up at 7 everyday, going for long walks every morning. I have a comfy "dog couch" that they are always welcome to use. I am home most of the day so your dog will not be left alone. If I have another dog scheduled during the time you requested, you will be informed so you can make the best decision for your four legged friend beforehand to ensure a safe environment for us all. I usually will take another walk at 10pm and then go to sleep.

I take safety seriously. Sometimes it's best to do a meet and greet, but not always. I'm available to come to your place or I can watch your pet at my place. I do spend a lot of time on my enclosed rooftop, most dogs really enjoy this aspect of my place. I live near Gas Works and like to go there often. I try to immediately respond to any inquiries unless it's late at night. If you don't need boarding or day care you can also request a dog walk, or a check in. My rates are relatively low for these services.
A typical day
I get up at 6:30-7, get coffee and a morning walk of a mile or so. I like taking pups to gas works or other nearby parks. I am home most of the day, so your dog will NOT be left alone. My place is quiet, clean and safe. I have a big comfy dog bed and a couch that they are always welcome on. You can also bring their own bed or crate if preferred.

- I have spent the most years with retrievers, labs, boxers and tons of rescues. Dogs usually warm up to me quickly. I live very close to a pet store where treats are available. A pet hospital is two blocks away as well. Please bring your own food, bowls and any toys. Thank you!
