Experienced rescue & reactive dogs
I have experience initially fostering multiple dogs before adopting two of my own. My time fostering and rescuing has taught me incredible patience and understanding for dogs who need some extra care. I have become fairly well educated in dog body language and behaviour over the last 6 years. I know how stressful it can be to find a trusted walker with dogs who are a little fearful or have tough triggers. Experience with young to adult dogs of all sizes, as well as knowledgeable with reactive dogs and those who require special care when handling them. I try to build trusting relationships with all dogs in my care and am patient to go at their pace. My two buddies will remain at home during any scheduled walks or check-in’s unless discussed and approved beforehand with repeating customers.

Safety, trust & environment
I take safety protocols on my dog walks seriously, this includes ensuring equipment (collar/harness/etc) are properly fitted. I also keep a close eye on dog body language to ensure they are comfortable.
Ratings and reviews
Scott handled our Nova Scotia Duck Retriever very well. She looked forward to him coming and going for a walk with him. She doesn't walk of leash well, she pulls.
Scott was very gentle and amazing with my dog Jessa. He was very patient and went the extra mile to meet and greet Jessa. Unfortunately, Jessa is afraid of men, so we weren't able to do a walk today. I hope we can reconnect once her issues are resolved. Thank you very much for your kindness and patience today.
Scott is great with communication and will put any anxiety or stress to rest with his confidence and calmness with your pet. We have a strong pittie mix who can be shy and cautious around new people, especially when entering into his space. Scott took his time to make sure our dog was comfortable, ensuring a gentle approach with our sensitive boy. He provided real time feedback and communication during pick up and drop off. We really appreciate his reassurances and would recommend him to anyone! We will be booking him again to care for our dog.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time remotely, if booking during 9-5 on weekdays I will need advance notice to arrange my schedule. Mornings, evenings, lunch walks and weekends are normally flexible! Fridays are always especially easy to pencil in.
