My name is Scott and I have been around dogs all of my life, and I think dogs are the very best thing on this planet! I have taken a 4 month course on positive conditioning and dog training in order to better care for our Rover guests. My family offers your pups a wonderful large safe backyard with a 6 foot secure wooden fence around it, we have a doggie door for dogs to come and go into the backyard all day long (at night we lock the doggie door). If your dog is not used to a dog door, our labradors will teach your dog to use the dog door. Our dogs love other guest dogs and are very welcoming, playing in the back yard, before napping inside. Our dogs include a 6 year old high energy playful labrador, who loves to play with other dogs (but leaves dogs alone that don't want to play) and a 14 year old low energy loving labrador. 2 loving children will dote on your doggie and make him or her feel special. We do have a single cat, named Angus, who is very used to dogs, and we do require that your dogs are just fine interacting with our very dog experienced cat. Our cat is a true expert on dogs and is great at training dogs to the notion that Angus cat is NOT a prey animal. We enjoy a meet and greet to be sure the dogs are comfortable with our home, and to make sure you feel comfortable with your dog's safety and comfort at our home. Many of our Rover dogs get walks every day or second day during their stay, of a 1 mile walk throughout our safe neighborhood. We will send photos to you throughout your dogs stay with us, our goal is to make your dog feel comfortable and cared for, while having a little adventure staycation, and to allow you to enjoy your trip away with full confidence that your pup is being cared for in a safe and fun family home.
