Pet care experience

Treatment SO fine for your Canine!

I’ve had dogs ever since I can remember… big dogs, little dogs, and everything in between. Growing up in a house full of multiple dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, fish, lizards, frogs, hamsters, I developed a love and care for animals very early! Always happy to go for a run or walk or just play with any and all pups! I also used to work at a veterinary hospital caring for all the boarded animals, so plenty of experience being around all breeds and personalities and keeping them entertained, safe, and taken care of

Scot exceeded our expectations in the care of our Golden Retriever puppy! He accepted our booking last minute during a difficult time we were going through and kept us updated with texts and pictures the whole 5 days! It was Buggy’s first time away from home and first time interacting with other dogs. He warmed up quick and the pictures gave us reassurance Buggy was comfortable! ♥️ We will book again with Scot!

Scott was amazing. With a really short notice he was able to accommodate both of our pups happily. I highly recommend him.

We couldn't be happier with the care Scott provided for our Aussiedoodle, Louie. Louie is a rescue dog and can be very shy, reserved, and anxious around new people. Before the stay, Scott took the time to meet Louie, asked thoughtful questions about his personality and tendencies, and honestly acknowledged that Louie was a bit hesitant. Even so, Scott felt confident he could earn Louie's trust, which gave us hope. Since this was our first time using Rover, we were naturally a little nervous about leaving Louie with someone new. Scott completely exceeded our expectations and made us believers in the process. He was incredibly patient and let Louie come to him at his own pace without ever pushing him. That approach made all the difference. We were thrilled to hear that, before long, Louie was eating treats right out of Scott's hand...a huge milestone for a dog who takes a long time to trust new people. It was clear Scott understood how to work with an anxious rescue dog and gave Louie the space and kindness he needed to feel comfortable. Thank you, Scott, for taking such great care of our anxious boy. We continue to work with Louie every day to help him build confidence and trust, so it meant a great deal to know he was in such capable and compassionate hands while we were away. Thanks again for watching and caring for our family's best friend. We truly appreciate everything you did, and we'll definitely be reaching out the next time we're in St. George!

Maggie had a great time! How do I know, do I speak dog. After jumping in the car, Maggie greeted both Matt and me, circled twice and fell asleep. As a boxer mom, that gave Scott her greatest praise.

Schedule

I work from home and on my own schedule as a dog groomer, so I can make just about anything work. Very flexible and easy to adjust according to your schedule! I’m also very active in general, so if your dog wants to play, I’m always down for some tug-o-war haha

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced back yard with a puppy pool and not much to destroy but plenty of room to run. I also already take a friends dog on daily walks while he is at work, so happy to add more walks or more pups to the mix!

A typical day

Walks or runs, at least once each day… fetch in the backyard, watching tv, you know, all the fun things all dogs love to do! I’m like a chameleon… I can adjust to whatever energy level your dog has going on haha
