What sets me apart is the level of personal care and patience I bring to every dog I watch. I live with my own little whirlwind, Muffin, who just turned one so I’m very familiar with the boundless energy, curiosity, and routine needs of puppies. At the same time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for senior dogs not only through Rover but growing up, who need a gentler approach especially when it comes to administering medications. I’ve gotten pretty skilled at working with pups who are picky, squirmy, or just not big fans of medicine time! One thing I really take pride in is my patience, especially with dogs who are shy or anxious. I never rush the getting to know you phase and always let each dog set the pace. I know from experience that the quiet ones often turn out to be the most rewarding connections once they feel safe and seen. At the end of the day, I treat every dog like they’re my own no matter what the circumstances may be.
