I’m originally from Mexico City and now living in Heidelberg with my husband and our five-year-old cat, P-Chan. He’s sweet, clingy, moody, and adorable—so I’m very familiar with all types of cat personalities. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and I’m currently learning German (A2.2). Communication is easy, and I always make sure to understand your pet’s needs clearly. I have years of experience caring for cats, including long-haired breeds that need extra grooming and patience. I’m very comfortable with brushing, cleaning eyes and faces, giving shy cats space, and keeping up with their routines. I love playful kitties as much as those who need a gentler, slower approach. I currently also care for several stray cats in my neighborhood. I regularly feed them, provide fresh water, help improve their shelters, and gently check on their well-being. Looking after them has taught me to be patient, observant, and deeply attentive to small changes in behavior or health. I do my best to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and not alone. We recently adopted a couple of them, and we're so happy to have them as part of our family. I also love rodents and small animals—I’ve cared for rabbits and am happy to look after guinea pigs, hamsters, and ferrets. I make sure they have a safe, clean environment and plenty of enrichment so they feel comfortable and happy. When it comes to dogs, I’m not an expert yet, but I genuinely enjoy being around them and connect with them easily. I have experience with friendly, social dogs through walking, sitting for friends, and handling calm dogs of different sizes. I focus on being calm, patient, and positive so dogs feel safe and comfortable with me. During visits or overnight stays, I take care of feeding, fresh water, litter or walks, playtime, cuddles, and any small home-care tasks. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain a safe environment, and give each pet individual attention. I also send updates so you can relax while you’re away. Plus I love taking awesome photos of the pets, so you’ll have lots of cute memories to keep ♥️ My goal is to make sure your cats, dogs, and small pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for—just like they deserve.

Scarleth hat sich während unserer Abwesenheit 2 Tage um unsere beiden Katzen gekümmert. Sie ist absolut zuverlässig und liebevoll. Wir hatten von Anfang an das Gefühl, dass sie sich super um die Zwei kümmern wird. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sie fragt alles nach und merkt sich die besprochenen Dinge ohne auch nur eine Kleinigkeit zu vergessen. Scarleth gibt täglich einen Lagebericht ab und sendet Fotos. Außerdem bleibt sie wesentlich länger als eigentlich vereinbart und auch bezahlt. Das zeigt uns, dass sie ihre Arbeit nicht nur des Geldes wegen macht, sondern dass das Tier/die Tiere an absolut erster Stelle stehen. Scarleth was simply amazing! She was providing Mandu very comfortable and joyful time. She kept all routines with Mandu and offered fun time and also relaxing time. In the morning, Mandu was happy to follow Scarleth immediately, and when came back home, he was very relaxed that i did not see any stress signals. Scarleth was on time, very punctual and attentive. Great communication also she provided lots of photos that you would not have any concerns when you are away from your lovely pet. Thanks Scarleth to provided amazing time for Mandu🫶🏻

Scarleth was an amazing sitter for my cat. She came over to meet Billu a few days before and took great care of him over the weekend. I got a lot of updates and he felt comfortable with her immediately. He cam home quite late when Scarleth was there and she went to look for him and kept me updated. Full recommendation for this warm-hearted catlover!
Scarleth hat über das Wochenende auf unsere zwei Katzen aufgepasst und sich dabei liebevoll um die beiden gekümmert 😊 wir haben mehrmals täglich Updates und Fotos erhalten und auch unsere eher schüchterne Katze hat ihre Anwesenheit gesucht und genossen. Wir können Scarleth von Herzen empfehlen.
Fini und ich waren sehr begeistert von Scarleths Dogsitting. Sie ist sehr zuverlässig und die Kommunikation ist sehr unkompliziert. Fini hat sich jeden Tag sehr auf Scarleth gefreut. Beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder.

Schedule
During the week, I study German in the mornings, which gives structure to my day. I also care for stray cats in my neighborhood, so looking after animals is already part of my routine. The rest of my day is flexible and available for pet sitting, allowing me to dedicate quality time to each pet.

A typical day
When I arrive, I first say hello to your cats and make sure they are doing well. I then prepare their food according to your instructions and let them eat peacefully at their own pace. After that, I provide fresh, clean water and thoroughly clean their litter boxes. The rest of the visit is dedicated to quality time with each cat, whether that means playing with their favorite toys, giving cuddles, brushing, or simply keeping them company. I try to stay as long as my schedule allows so your cats do not feel too alone while you are away. During each visit, I also send you photos and updates so you can see that your cats are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. ----- During dog visits or boarding, your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, and relaxing moments with lots of cuddles and attention. I always adapt each day to your dog’s age, personality, and energy level, whether they love long walks and active games or prefer a calmer routine. Fresh water is always available, and I will feed your dog according to your instructions and schedule. I make sure they get both physical exercise and emotional comfort, so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is for your dog to return home happy and pleasantly tired, ready to rest and relax with you after a fun and fulfilling day.
