Pet care experience

Most will call me a dog whisperer

I’ve raised and trained pit bulls from puppies to 8 years old, worked with skill training for German Shepards, and helped my sister foster a Dachshund that had a senior owner who couldn’t walk him for over 2 years. I’m addition, I’ve watched many friends pets in their home for multiple nights.

Sawyer was excellent. He communicated with us very well. He did more than he needed to. He really seemed to want to do what was best for the animals, especially our dog who can be a handful.

Did a good job walking and caring for our pets. Administer insulin shots twice daily to our diabetic dog.

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEW - that guy’s a doo-doo face… Sawyer clearly loves dogs and communicates just fine! I tend to over communicate and he had no problem responding to all my messages. I love getting all the pic updates, too! He’s experienced and my handsome staffy boy took to him immediately! My dog can be a handful on a leash and around other dogs but he must have handled him just fine because no bad reports! 💯 recommend Sawyer! 👍

Overall poor experience with Sawyer. Miscommunication lead to numerous issues (which he insisted to be off app). He was not able to follow instructions and was gone much longer than we had expected. Even when he was home he ignored the dogs allowing them to get into things they shouldn’t and created big safety risks. His check ins were misleading and inconsistent. I would not trust him with my dogs again.

He did great with our two dogs, one of whom is an anxious 60lb pitbull mix. He communicated clearly and was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Sawyer is a responsible, caring, loving per sitter. He sat our two cats and I think they would have been happy for him to stay. He brought in the mail and watered our plants as well, He was easy to communicate with and we did not worry about anything.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m a world traveler and digital nomad. I work part time and am able to spend an ample amount of time with your pet! It is like pet therapy to me and I enjoy bringing pets with me everywhere I go or coming to them and spending time in their safe space.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

After just recently taking care of my friends dog for Thanksgiving in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a week, I decided that I wanted more pets in my life! I was able to take Ayani (3 year old male dog-not aware of breed) for his morning and evening walks, in addition to many dog park visits. I am an avid hiker and love to bring dogs along with me, both on and off the leash depending on the owners guidelines.

A typical day

A typical day for me starts with a short walk in the morning (or a bike ride with the dog if they can handle it). In the afternoon I like to either go to the dog park and socialize or go on a hike. Off leash if the owner allows it is best for me, because it gives the dog more autonomy. With cats I like to take them out on the patio or yard if I can. Otherwise play with some string or cozy up with a tea and nice book together.
