Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favourite toys, sleeping habits, personality, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and secure. It's also important to share any medical conditions, allergies, medications, dietary requirements, or special care instructions. I'd like to know whether your cat is shy, energetic, enjoys being handled, or prefers their own space, as well as any behaviours or triggers I should be aware of. Please let me know if your cat is microchipped, vaccinated, and whether they are comfortable around new people or different environments. The more I know beforehand, the easier it is to make their stay as stress-free, safe, and enjoyable as possible. My priority is to ensure your cat feels happy, loved, and cared for, just like they would at home.
A typical day
Every cat is different, so I always tailor the day to their personality and routine. Mornings start with fresh food and water, a clean litter tray, and plenty of affection to help them feel comfortable and settled. For playful cats, I'll spend time using interactive toys, teaser wands, balls, or puzzle toys to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. If your cat prefers a slower pace, I'm more than happy to sit with them, offer gentle strokes if they enjoy them, or simply provide quiet companionship while respecting their space. As I work from home, your cat will have company throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. They'll have plenty of opportunities to relax, nap in cosy spots, explore safely, look out the window, and enjoy a calm, clean environment. Throughout their stay, I'll monitor their eating, drinking, litter habits, and overall wellbeing to ensure they're happy and comfortable. I'll also send regular updates and photos, so you can see how much fun they're having and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your cat feel as relaxed, loved, and at home as possible until you're reunited.

As a devoted cat owner, I've gained valuable hands-on experience caring for my own cat and understand just how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. I've also had the pleasure of caring for other people's cats, taking the time to understand each cat's unique personality, routine, and needs. I've travelled with my own cat, ensuring he remained calm, comfortable, and well looked after throughout the journey. This taught me the importance of patience, preparation, and helping cats feel secure in unfamiliar situations. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was caring for my cat during an illness. I carefully monitored his behaviour, followed his care routine, made sure he stayed comfortable, and gave him plenty of love and attention throughout his recovery. Thankfully, he recovered quickly, reinforcing the importance of being attentive, gentle, and responsive to a cat's needs. I know that every cat is different—some are playful and affectionate, while others prefer their own space—and I always adapt my care to suit their personality. Working from home allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the cats in my care, so they receive lots of companionship and are never left alone for long periods. I also maintain a clean, calm, and tidy home to create a relaxing environment where cats can feel safe and at ease. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your cat with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly.
