Pet care experience

Calm, Caring Pet Support

I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My background includes hands‑on experience with dogs and cats—from energetic puppies and kittens to seniors who need a gentler, slower pace. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication support, behavior observation, and creating a calm, positive environment for every pet. I hold degrees in Animal Science and Equine Science, which give me a strong foundation in animal behavior, welfare, physiology, and safe handling practices. Whether I’m caring for a tiny kitten, a senior dog, or a 1,200‑lb horse, I bring the same level of compassion, professionalism, and respect to every animal.

Savannah was amazing! She sent pictures multiple times a day, walked the dogs, played with them, communicated regularly with me and it was great to have her hang out with Thor and Loki for a couple days. I would definitely recommend Savannah to everyone looking for someone to watch their pups. I will be reaching out for certain!

Savannah is a very caring animal caregiver who enjoys spending time with the pets she takes care of. She is very considerate when it comes to making sure that the animal is properly taken care of and played with. She has taken care of her own animals in the past with perfect care and that effort and compassion would be extended to any animal that she takes care of.

Savannah is the best! My dog gets so excited every time she comes :). She has watched our dog many times over the last 5 years or so. My house is always cleaner than when we left which is a huge plus. It also gives me peace of mind knowing that she has so much education in Animal Science, so if something is wrong, she will know what to do. She does a great job.

Savannah has done a great job of taking care of our dog which has included keeping her entertained with active playtime and walks, feeding, bathing, nail trimming, trips to the vet and more. She has been a great advocate and takes her responsibility seriously while having fun doing it.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I currently work part‑time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available most weekdays for walks, drop‑ins, and check‑ins, and I keep my evenings and weekends open for boarding and longer stays. My schedule allows me to adjust to each pet’s routine, whether they need midday potty breaks, consistent feeding times, or extra attention throughout the day. I update my calendar regularly so you always know when I’m open

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Trust is built through reliability and transparency. I provide updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m punctual, consistent, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with a relaxed morning check‑in to make sure your dog is comfortable, happy, and ready for the day. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—morning potty break, breakfast, and a little enrichment or playtime to get their energy moving. I pay close attention to their behavior and body language so the day stays positive and low‑stress. Throughout the day, I keep a balance of activity and rest based on your dog’s age, personality, and energy level. That might include a walk, a game of fetch, puzzle toys, or quiet companionship for dogs who prefer a calmer pace. I maintain consistent feeding times, water checks, and any medication routines you’ve outlined. In the afternoon and evening, I make sure your dog gets another potty break, some mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. If I’m staying in your home, I keep the environment tidy and familiar so your dog feels secure. If I’m doing drop‑ins, I make sure they settle comfortably before I leave. Throughout the day, I send updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing (if desired).

To give your dog the safest and most comfortable care, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions. Please share their meal times, portion sizes, treat limits, and any allergies or sensitivities. If your dog takes medications, I need the timing and method of giving them, as well as any health concerns I should watch for. Understanding your dog’s energy level helps me plan the right mix of activity and rest. Let me know how long they usually walk, what kinds of enrichment they enjoy, and any triggers, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing their comfort level with crates, other dogs, new people, or being alone. I always want to match your communication style, so please tell me how often you’d like updates and what kind of check‑ins you prefer—photos, messages, or quick summaries. Clear information helps me keep your dog’s day predictable, safe, and stress‑free.
