As a hybrid worker, I have a flexible schedule and I am able to schedule my work around pet care. If I house sit then I remain at the house for most of the day and take care of the animals there, making sure to never leave them for more than a few hours. For drop-ins and walking, I make sure to build my daily schedule around those visits.

I have no breed preferences but I would like to know a bit about your dog's temperament before coming to care for them. I have owned and cared for many kinds of dogs with a variety of temperments and do not have an issue handling those high-strung or still in training. For house sitting, also let me know if your dog needs any special care or medications so I can make sure I'll be able to give them the best care possible.
A typical day
It really depends on the dog! If your dog is friendly and able to go to a park, I have no issue with taking them to a local dog park or run near to your place. I can also walk them throughout your neighborhood, on a green way, or do a little cross country. I love spending time outdoors and know how important it is for pups to get their exercise. For the wise seniors or those not built for such strenuous exercise, I can give them some love and keep them company or let them play with their toys inside.

Hi! My name is Vana and I am a remote worker in DC. I joined this service for some extra money and to meet and play with people's pets! I've taken care of animals all my life, from cats to dogs to guinea pigs to horses. I cared for/owned horses for four years (no big dog is too scary!), have had cats all my life, and had a hyper Aussie and sweet beagle of my own. I can take care of the youngest puppy to the oldest dog and my puppy days certainly hardened me for non-stop playtime and bountiful walks. I know how important pets are to every family and will treat your fur baby as I would my own. If you're interested in dog walking, drop-ins, or house sitting then feel free to message me and we can work something out. Due to my flexible remote/hybrid schedule, I’m available for all-day sitting at your home with frequent potty breaks and walks for a per diem rate, or can do drop-ins throughout the day. I also have overnight availability with advance (3+ days) notice. Thank you!

Savannah was so great— she stayed in touch, sent great pictures, and was patient with our dog even when he wasn’t at his best. She obviously cares a lot and that was the best peace of mind while we were away.
Vana was incredibly friendly, communicative, and caring for her stay in our home with our (huge) pup, Wrigley. She checked in as requested and made sure to ask questions to provide him the best care. Not only that, but the house was exactly as we left it on return. We would book with Vana again in the future (and Wrigley seems like he would be a fan, too).
Savannah was wonderful! She came by to meet our two dogs and learn about them before she house sat for us. She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated with photos while we were away. Would highly recommend her!
