I currently have a 9-year-old border collie and take him on walks and play with him for hours every day. He's a very active dog and I enjoy being active with him, as well as grooming him and interacting with him through any and all means. I love all dogs, but my favorite breed is the doberman! I also have a black cat named Breezepelt (named after my favorite book character), and a mexican black kingsnake named Asclepius!

How I care for your pet depends on the specific needs and wants of the pet and what you as the owner would like. If I am house sitting, I am willing to play with, take outside, and walk with your pet as much as is desired. I have both leads and retractable leashes if you would like me to use my own. I am comfortable with crating if so desired. I will be keeping a constant eye on your pet and will ensure their safety to the upmost degree.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive in any way. Finn (my dog) is reactive so I understand how to help calm reactive dogs and keep them safe in the event of an encounter with another dog or person. Let me know if your dog has any health conditions and your vet's contact information.

A typical day with me will include lots of play, pets, and walks. I also like to play games with pups and teach them new words and tricks. If it's ok with the owner, I may take them down to the lakefront in Mandeville or the dog park. I have experience with both more relaxed breeds and working breeds, so what we do will be catered to your dog's individual and breed-specific needs.

I've grown up with many types of pets throughout my entire life. I love animals and have been a volunteer at Northshore Humane Society since 2020, where I have experience walking, playing with, cleaning after, and even assisting in veterinary care with dogs. I especially love teaching new tricks and playing with them. I also have experience with reptiles and cats.
