I work from home Monday/Thursday/Fridays, so most of my days are flexible and I'm able to take your dog out in the morning, mid-day/afternoon, and in the evening as needed for playtime and exercise. On Tuesdays & Wednesdays, I can take your dog outside before 8 am and after 5/6 pm. My calendar is up to date -- I always block off any days / weekends I'm unavailable.

I always follow whatever precautions you normally would while your pet is under my care. I can use a crate / gate / etc. as needed, ensure your dog does or does not play with other dogs (based on your preferences), and can make sure your pet doesn't have access to certain items they may be prone to chewing, etc. Just give me the details and I'll make it happen! Also it's worth noting that my roomate has two cats -- Art & Deco. They're generally shy around dogs and might hide, but if your dog is aggressive towards cat I won't be able to board them. You can inquire about housesitting, however, if you're comfortable with me staying at your place!

I would like to know the size of the dog, age, sex, breed, medication/health/diet restrictions and instructions, general behavior/temperament, and if the dog gets along well with other dogs. Some dogs also have weird behavioral quirks so it is good to know those things ahead of time as not to scare / stress your dog out unknowingly & to know what to do if a certain circumstance comes up. I do not have any breed preferences. Please also make sure you have up to date vet & emergency contact information.
A typical day
Going for walks I will walk your dog around your neighborhood or at a nearby park or wherever you typically take them. I can make the walks as long or short as you desire based on your dog's preferences. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep at your home in whatever arrangement you are most comfortable with (on your bed, their bed, in a crate, etc.). I will say I love cuddling with pets in the evening and don't mind if they sleep with me. Time I'll spend with your dog Depending on the individual needs of your dog, I can adjust my schedule to allow for more/less interaction and attention. At a minimum, your dog can be guaranteed two moderate walks per day, plus some play/fetch time in the evening (environment permitting), cuddles at night, and dog park visits as you desire.

I provide loving and affordable care for dogs, cats, and other pets at a reasonable price. I am an animal lover (I grew up with 3 dogs, 7 cats, gerbils, fish, turtles, bunnies, and birds). I also volunteer at local rescues and shelters in my free time. I truly love animals! I am very open to staying at your home while you are away or doing drop-ins / walks / etc. I will treat your pooch/kitty/other animals with love and kindness while you are away. Why I love dog (and cat) sitting I have been a dog (and cat) lover as long as I can remember. I up with dogs, cats and all other sorts of animals in my home. I personally believe you can tell a lot about a person based on the way they treat animals. Therefore, my philosophy, when it comes to caring for pets, is to treat them with kindness, compassion, love, and understanding. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust my day/night to meet the needs of your pet. I'm on a hybrid work schedule (only in office Tues & Weds from 8 am - 6 pm), so flexibility is my motto! I am available during the week and on weekends, with the occasional exception. Please check my calendar or message me for availability! I will take all necessary precautions with your beloved animal! I walk dogs on leashes always, and have my eyes on your pet at the park, during walks, and at all times. I will also watch your pet in your home and be sure to take every precaution you typically do. I'm comfortable using gates, crates, pens, etc as needed / if preferred.
