I LOVE DOGS!
Like, I REALLY love dogs. As a young girl, I started my own dog walking business, attended SPCA summer camp, and spent an entire family vacation in Mexico feeding treats to stray dogs instead of going to the beach. Now I even attend a school where the mascot is a dog! But beyond a general love of pets, I'm lucky enough to have two dogs of my own who I've helped care for since age 9 (shoutout to Tiny and Pepper)! I've also pet sat for many friends and neighbors, and have two years of professional childcare experience (which is a lot more similar to pet care than you might think). Thus I can assure you that I have the skill, responsibility, and attention to detail that it takes to keep your pup both happy and safe while you're away.

Of course, how I conduct myself in your home is entirely up to you. If you are looking for me to take on more of a house/pet-sitting combo, I am happy to keep things clean and stick around for long periods of time to keep your baby company. But if you're more of a "don't-touch-anything-except-the-front-door-handle-and-the-top-of-my-dog's-cute-little-head" person, I totally understand. Just let me know ahead of time what you expect out of my services, and that's what you will get.

Savannah watched our dog, Bruce, for a few days while we were out of town. Bruce has a kind heart but can be wary/temperamental with strangers. Not only did Savannah hit it off with Bruce immediately, she took excellent care of both our boy and our house. She followed all instructions and left the house spotless. Bruce even had a stomach issue while we were gone and Savannah went above and beyond in cleaning it up and making sure Bruce was okay. She gave us constant updates while we were gone and Bruce was so happy to have her around. Savannah has a delightful, calm, and attentive personality, and Bruce thrived in her company. We had absolutely no worries with Bruce in her care, we were able to relax on our vacation, and would have Savannah back in a heartbeat. Bruce and our whole family are so thankful to have met her!!

Schedule
I'm currently home for the summer, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your pup! I'm available to do overnight pet/house-sitting for as long as you need, or even just casual pop-ins to give your dog a walk, potty break, food, and some love! I also have my own car and a valid drivers license, so I'm happy to drive your dog to the dog park, appointments, or anywhere else if that's something you want to make happen. Let me know what you need, and I'm optimistic that I can make it work.
